  1. 'WELL Fans, With the new COVID shutdown on Boxing Day I lost my job. A few years ago I made some Motherwell T-Shirts that went down a treat I've designed and printed a limited batch of 50 new Motherwell Tee's that i'll pick up from the printers tomorrow. Please see below a mock up of the T-Shirt. They come in sizes XS, Small, Medium, Large and XL All priced at £20 each. If they're popular I'm more than happy to print more or release different designs. Just trying to make something out of a shit situation. Any orders can be placed by e-mail davidmartinlj@gmail.com SIWY

  2. The big mistake people are making is they are applying logic. This is Scottish football we are talking about here. Wouldn't be surprised if they docked us more points.

  3. Fielding stronger teams now, compared to what they would have been able to field is surely the most relevant fact. By breaking the rules (which they’ve admitted to) and having cancelled/ been unable to fulfil the fixture, both teams have gained a sporting advantage. Why should we be penalised?

  4. Morally dubious yes, but not sure Celtic have broken any rules as such. If they had failed to play Hibs the other night that would've been a different story but can't see them being charged with wrongdoing on this occasion.

  5. As I said before, I don't understand how the SFA/SPFL can entertain an appeal from both clubs given that at the first hearing, they both admitted guilt. However, I agree with your point on proportionality and I think they are really more interested in getting their £40K fines dropped.

  6. Quite enjoyed a wee bit of reminiscing going through the full thread. A couple of posts with especially good foresight about our Champions League involvement! Maybe Frazzle's unwittingly hit upon an idea there to occasionally bring back a thread from the dead for viewing to see what the talk of the day was.

  7. Officials in Scotland would use VAR in the same way they officiate other aspects of the game. You could have the identical 'ball to arm' situations at both ends in the space of 2 minutes, one will be deemed a penalty and the other denied. It all depends on the team involved. As usual our expert pundits will contradict themselves to justify both decisions with differing versions of what a natural silhouette is. Its the same with challenges in the box. "Kipre did touch Sinclair so it was a penalty and a red", happens in another game the same weekend and "there is a touch but not enough for him to go down". End of the day the clubs who are normally the beneficiary of the big decisions will still get them.
