  1. That was a kick in the balls, but 3 wins and a draw from four games will do me. As Mark McGhee said, time to get on with it. Was pleased with the team's effort in the second half - I would imagine they had a bit of a bollocking and were closing down the Accies well and winning the ball for the most part. Stand out players for me today were Moult, Skippy and Marv. Grimshaw didnt show up though and McManus - who I think has improved when he partnering Ben Hall, had a poor game. That Accies player Lucas - fuck me he is a mountain.
  2. Malky Mackay will end up at Wigan. No chance of him returning to Scotland.
  3. Sadly, the Alba highlights once again, clashes with 'Sex Sent Me to ER' over on TLC. (I used this cheap shot last week as well).
  4. Sorry - I meant overall since he broke into the first team. I didn't go today, so can't comment on that particular performance. He was non-existent last week due to the hoofball tactics played bypassing the middle of the park altogether though. What gets me is that the players are all decent enough - they look really unfit, devoid of confidence and can't work together. If there was ever a time that the team needed to be together and led by the manager, it's now. Stuart McCall should shit-can his Scotland duties immediately and concentrate purely on his club role. If not, Alan Burrows should grow a pair and take him to task on this.
  5. The thing that annoys me the most is that we have few young players with games under the belts. For too long we have played experienced players out of position rather than let younger players have some game time in a familiar position. Now the finances are tight, the need for younger players to come through is even greater and we are caught short. Carswell has been given a chance and has done well IMO. Leitch needs more games which I feel he should have had more last season, Erwin has been given a chance because there is no one else to challenge for a place and Kerr has hardly featured in a natural position. I am a fan of Stuart McCall but he has seriously screwed up there and a club of our size needs a good set of young players. On the topic of our run of bad form, I would give him a few more games to turn things around though before pressing the panic button.
  6. I reckon this will be a draw. The main question Stuart McCall will be looking at I suppose is who to drop frmo last week's lineup now Lasley is fit again. My guess is that ZFA and Vigurs on the left. Perhaps a bit harsh on Zane, but necessary I feel. Going for 2-2 but would love to see us sneak a 1-0 win.
  7. Not that I am complaining, but I think the prices for the DC stand is too cheap. More than happy to pay the extra increase as it still represents excellent value along with the free tickets for u16's and hopefully helps the club work from a more stable financial footing.
