Well that’s Goodwin sacked.

It absolutely does matter who the manager is as shown in the past when we’ve changed managers. Hammel has signed how many players now ? Are we any better ? This simply can’t continue, the club is sleepwalking into relegation.

Goodwin will be sacked after today, what’s the betting he replaces Hammell ?

If we don’t win this we need to change the manager.

It was exactly the type of signing many were asking for, a young, pretty highly rated player from the championship. Sadly it’s just not quite worked out, not that he’s a hopeless player, he’s not, it’s just you need something else apart from just workrate.

Before that the argument was we had no consistency and were having to change the squad every season. Longer contracts are fine if it’s the right players that could command a transfer fee down the line.

I think it’s probably more the general regression of the team, he’s not the only one.

I think the argument a while ago was yes a poor run but look at the teams we’ve played, let’s judge him when we have a run of games against clubs we are on the same level with, this was a very fair point. We have however now had a run of games against these teams and not won one of them. We’ve had one win since last October.

I honestly agree with that, my opinion is simply if no improvement are being made and we have a win percentage this low, low enough that if it continues it’s highly likely we will be relegated do we stick or twist. On this occasion and from what I’m witnessing I think we need to take a punt on someone else. But nothing is guaranteed regardless of what we do.

Second bottom and three wins all season while conceding a stack of goals, even we can’t cock this one up.
