  1. As a Odense supporter I must say I'm satisfied with the draw. We could have ended up in a group with 3 East-European teams, instead we got 3 good trips (Madrid, Bern and Stuttgart). I see VfB Stuttgart as a glamour tie, the city of Mercedes-Benz and Porsche, a stadium with 52.000 spectators (limited to 41.000 due to construction). We are playing Stuttgart when the traditional Christmas market is on (Weihnachtsmarkt). That is perfect. I hope you will qualify next year. Btw. I was given the responsibility to take care of a Scottish flag and that I will do, I will bring to Bern and Stuttgart.
  2. What was your coef. when the europa league started? As Far as I can see you would take Gents spot, but nothing is sure since Gent was limited in what groups they could end in and you would have been free, so nothing is certain.
  3. Getafe, Stuttgart and Young Boys. A interesting group. Not impossible, but for sure difficult. YB are from SCH and plays on artifiticial turf. They won 3-2 over Tottenham in Bern.
  4. Hi all Well fans. I just want to thank you for a good fight, it was a pleasure to meet many of you in Odense. Sadly only one team could qualify, and damn we have been in your shoes several times. Good luck in the SPL, I will keep updated about your performances. Even though many of you dislike our players (i.e. Djemba for mouth and rulling, and I agree) I hope you can spare some positive energy if we are facing City or Liverpool. Regards Jakob P.s. Could be funny to watch a game on Fir Park vs. Celtic or Rangers
  5. If that is the case, then there wouldn't be any reason for the Danish TV to say they are not able to show the game due to no TV signal. Normally there are TV at most games, but not always the OB van is there to broadcast the game to the TV channels. This i most likely the case here.
  6. How should the game be sent on any channel, when there is NO TV at Fir Park this evening. Both Motherwell and OB has announced that the game is not sent on any TV channel. The danish TV stations are not able to sent the game, because there is no one who is producing the game for TV.
  7. Our club annouced that no tv station is showing the game in DK. Due to no scottish chanel is producing the game. Its on Fir Park or in the Radio, sadly (for us how's not able to go).
  8. We are almost never differ start 11. In total perhaps 13 players are used by our stupid coach. Today we drew against Brøndby after being up 2-0, one man more. But ref was aweful, and was directly involved in the comeback. Again, we stopped fighting and started to watch football. Fourth time this season a team scores in the last 5 min.
  9. I'am expecting the following start 11. 1. Roy Carroll 2. Espen Ruud 3. Atle Roar Håland 5. Anders Møller Christensen 15. Chris Sørensen 19. Eric Djemba-Djemba 21. Rurik Gislason 11. Johan Absalonsen 4. Hans Henrik Andreasen 10. Andreas Johansson 7. Peter Utaka
  10. Latest update from DK - it is rainy, and has rained for none-stop 24 hours. It looks like we are going to play water polo Right now the Billund Airport is closed, it drowned in a cloudburst. It will open again, when the water is back on a fair level - no fear, you will manage to get here in time
  11. Due to UEFA regulation there will only be served alcohol free beer. If you'r lucky Carlsberg is out the fake beer UEFA is no fun!
  12. No need to exaggerate - most people believes in a close game, perhaps 60/40. Besides after watching most of the game Motherwell - Hibs, I would say it is going to be interesting. Our strengths looks like your weaknesses and visa versa. I believe in 3-1 in Odense, and then Motherwell 'only' needs a 2 goals victory at home.
  13. >a few questions to any Odense fans Most answers are provided, but I will add some comments. >where is the best place to eat? It is not cheap to eat in DK, not like it can be in i.e. Spain. But I would recommend Restaurant Carlslund, known for the all you can eat Danish omelette menu. It is about 30 min walk from the inner city, but the walk is quite nice - just follow the small river, when you pass the zoo (the zoo is on both sides) just cintunue a bit more, then cross the river and continue into the forest. On the way back go to Carlsens Kvarter, one of the most famous places in DK for the selection of beers. It is 50kr beers but worth trying. >where about are the best and cheapest bars situated? Ryans offered you are good deal, else some of the bars near Ryans are 'cheap', i.e. Sir Club. At Sir Club you find pool tables and table soccer. Near the House of H.C. Andersen, the Casino and Radisson Hotel there are two smaller bars called Lørups Vinstue and Restaurant Grøntorvet (eating and drinking place) and another bar is Bar Rar in Dronningensgade. >anything to be careful of? Yes, the cyclist (inclusive me). >are there any night clubs open on thursday? City Arkaden, Australien Bar (or A Bar), Blomsten og Bien and perhaps Den Glade Viking. Thursday is the only day where the average is above 20 on A Bar. are there any student bars? Do not fear you need to show ID that proofs you are under 27, only rumours - but expect you need to show ID (picture id, remember your passport) on all night clubs.
  14. I would say that odds has not changed - we can expect a close game. You will probably be a bit more defensive in Odense, and hope to score an away goal and we will not suicide because we know it is going to be close over two games, and therefore need to prevent away goals. Beside that I saw some qualities in your team that will make it very difficult for our team, and visa versa.
  15. I predicted a close game, where we would be challenged in relation to break down there defence, but i turned out we scored twice in 20 minutes, and went on cruise control. Another two goals was scored in first half, one for each - one of our defenders made a very stupid penalty. Our teams top score is normally Peter Utaka, the little brother of John Utaka, but right now it is our midfielder Hans Henrik Andreasen (5 goals, + 1 in the EL). Utaka scored 2 goals in EL, and his first league goal to day. It seems that we have found our preferred starting 11, but due to a one match suspension we probably need to find another set-up for the game on Thursday. All players there where injured last week played today, instead Thomas Helveg was injured. Beside this short summary and updating, there was not much to say about the game today.
