    Bluster

I would not be too upset at losing to both the old firm. Celtic pay minimum 20 grand a week and have a far superior squad to us. They will win the league by a minimum of 25 points. Rangers pay SPL wages or average 7 grand a week again we cannot compete with that. We get the occasional good result against one of them so we can enjoy that when it happens. I am also a bit tired hearing all the negativity about Stuart McCall. He stated Celtic played well to take the flak off our players who were poor. He does not publicly slate his players but remember we went down to 10 men and after that it was damage limitation. McCall is doing fine with a limited budget. We are not in debt and the club management and directors will not allow us to go the way of our previous flirt with administration For that we have still got a football club. As for our biggest support in years at Ibrox 940 was the number. So we can thank half of the 30,000 Rangers supporters for our half of the gate. Obviously Queen of the South thought they had a better chance of beating them than we did cause they took 1500 and that is their average home gate. Rant over!!!!
  2. Ah the plight of Scottish Football. Bottom line is the product is too expensive. Prices for food and drinks inside is not the issue but the price at the turnstyle is too much. A tenner last season against Dundee Utd and you get 10k. All be it they brought a great support but the price helped the gate and if there is something at stake then the punters will come out. Bring back 2 up 2 down and a play off and you will get punters through the gate no doubt. Look at Hibs when they went down and their gates during the season in the first division Thousands. The product is not that bad, just when you are being compared to multi million pound sides from La Liga and the Premiership you look like the poor relations.
  3. My my, Stuart Mccall and Kenny Black are no mugs and their tactics are fine. Last night a team were 2-1 down and pressing us back as I would expect us to do. We lost a goal, so what. We got a poor offside decision against us or we were through. The manager picks the team and he can do very little to influence a game once they cross the white line. Every player will have his instruction and it is up to them to do their job. Tactical ability is something most managers have at a certain level and the difference between most teams is the personnel who turn up and perform for you on the day, like they did against ICT, Hearts, St. Mirren and Dunfermline with a few missed chances against agood Killie team. McCall and Black are doing fine just let them get on with it and lets get behind them. 'Mon the Well'
  4. Kids thrown in are ok when we are up and winning. I appreciate the need to maybe give one or two a chance but I have faith in the Gaffer to have the ability to make these decisions. The game on Saturday will see where we are going this season. As for Jennings to be dropped I don't get it. He is still a great spoiler in my opinion and our troubles are sadly at the back particularly through the middle. Hutchie is a fabulous player and we are missing him big time. Crags was doing well in there when Hutchie was there with his undoubted ability and Crags excellent reading of the game. Murphy will be ok cause he is a smashing player. Just wait, we will score a few on Saturday against that lot and we will all move on to the next game flying again. Has anyone noticed we are still 3rd in the league!!!!!!!! Did anyone see that on the first game of the season.

    Chris Humphrey

Humphrey is a matchwinner on his day. At the moment he is bereft of confidence however I don't think too many players have covered themselves in glory in the last 3 games. We have started the season well and again punching above our weight. 2 defeats to the Old Scum and St. Johnstone and pens last night. Still not that bad but still not enough to give Humphrey the dogs abuse in the early posts. So get off his back ang support the lad. He's alright in my book.
  6. Ref had a shocker. Mastorovitch had to walk for the hand ball. That would have changed the whole dynamics of the game and Craigan would never have been in that position, although he was having a shocker himself. Lasley was lucky to stay on as well but that again was after the Swede had tried the leg breaker on Sutts which was a straight red. I do not buy this bullshit about it staying a good game by keeping 11 v 11 on the park. I couldn,t care less if they were down to 8 men. If you deserve to go you deserve to go. However Smeltic were not allowed to lose that game on Saturday after all that has happened to their poor wee manager. Another trophy less season would just add fuel to their conspiracy theory .
  7. Brown should have kept his mouth shut. He did not say much about Mastorovitch's shocker on Sutt's. Still, we failed to turn up when it mattered most. My gripe is the lousy 16,000 tickets for the national final cause when you look at the support their lot got it must have felt intimidating on the pitch. Would have been nice for the Well to walk out to claret and amber right round to halfway rather than just a quarter of the stadium. It smacked of a home game for that lot and the SFA bottled it again. Conspiracy my arse both the old scum get everything going and we get the scraps. As usual. However Well fan till I die and I hope I don't need to wait another 20 years to get to hampden again. But what a season! More ups and downs than a you know what but that is the Well rollercoaster.
  8. Oh dear, why did Brown go? Simples, he could not take the current squad any further and with the apparent lack of cash how can Mcall do much more. The team got 6 out of the last 9 and I did not see the Aberdeen score coming. last night was a hiccup in our fecking paddy field. Thanks for pointing out less than 2 months in the job. And as for Tommy Mclean! Get real. Patience and we will be ok. Changing times ahead for the club as a whole.
  9. Just been through some of the reply's and cannot believe we are blaming the ref. The first goal was a belter and their second was poor defending by Craigan. Overall we played well but there were too many unforced errors particulary from Saunders and Craigan. We cannot do that at that level. Same old story we did our club proud but just came up short. Only thing Collum was guilty of was not giving us any 50/50 decisions unless it was in an area where it did not matter. For what it was worth I stood for the whole game without challenge and I dare say if we stood up to a man and gave it laldy then nothing would have happened. Oh and the smoke bomb is going to get us into bother one day.

    Semi Final

Pen, never saw a penalty shout! Or maybe I missed it

    Semi Final

If the Well fans need the club to whip up a frenzy for a national cup semi then I am sorry but we are fecked. Shocking ticket sales 2,500 last week for a chance to make a final when we will take 14,000. So get off your arses and get a fecking ticket and support our team. Oh and by the way we will never beat them cause we never do, but I will live the dream and hope will reign forever.
  12. Correct never a truer word spoken.
  13. Not a chance, we are spiralling downwards due to the lack of funds and a sparse squad. Not being pessimistic just a realist.
  14. Ah the memories, I remember getting my heels and ankles kicked black and blue after we equalised against the h**s in the season opener. Also my big mate took a right hook from guys we were standing talking to after wishing us all the best for the season when they wre 2 up. Fuckers could not take it then and still they are not allowed to get beat. Was it Shuggie Sproat in goal that day?
