  1. 1-1 at half time. Disappointing to lose the goal obviously but it's been a massively improved performance, Goss brought out a tremendous save after a few minutes and has an effort that kissed the post. Delighted for Spittal to score from a nice low cross from Shields. Typically they score from the first effort on target.
  2. A few of them flying into tackles with Van Veen.
  3. It's certainly been refreshing seeing the change in approach, how often under Alexander did we see players struggle to do the simple things like pass the ball.
  4. Let off there, Solholm slip and Dons striker missed a one on one, put it over bar.
  5. If it's the Hesgoal one, it's really faint crowd noise. Thankfully we don't need to listen to their commentary.
  6. Great effort early on. Positive start.
  7. It was interesting listening to Hammell's pre match interview. He was saying he had hoped to have two new additions signed yesterday but obviously that never worked out. Nice to hear he isn't wasting anytime trying to put his own stamp on proceedings.
  8. Personally I prefer Solholm to Mugabi as he seems the less likely of the two to have a brain fart, but I agree with Cornelius and Slattery. Morris and Maguire were rightfully hooked at half time last weekend, Hammell has made a few comments about Callum being a key component to the way he plans to play and Dean done well last week when he came on.
  9. I was lucky enough to get a tour of Fir Park a few week ago and I saw his shirts all printed up I actually thought he might have been unlucky to have got caught up in all the turmoil that followed Alexander then Dibble.
  10. I'm looking forward to seeing our approach to the game this week, Hammell only had the one training session after Alexander's departure and he mentioned pre match he would have wanted to change more in regards to tactics and team selection but his hands were obviously tied so it'll be interesting to see if we shift formation and what lineup he'll plump for. I wouldn't actually be surprised to see Stevie firing in the likes of Speirs before Tierney or Cornelius. Another win here would be massive, like us last week St Johnstone struggled creatively up top, you can't help but feel the game won't be a classic and it'll either finish 0-0 or someone sneaking it by a goal, I miss the days of Chris Humphrey tearing them to shreds at Fir Park. Willie Collum is the ref for tomorrows game.
  11. It's a great three points I won't argue with that considering the week we have had. Hammell and Kerr only had yesterday to prepare so all things considered that is a tremendous result.
  12. Its a go for Joe. Efford and youngster Speirs coming on for Goss and Morris.
  13. St Mirren have been stinking in front of goal so far, you would imagine they will eventually get one of these on target. Need to try and be a bit tighter at the back.
