  1. Big thanks to those who donated today! Also, credit goes to the busload of Ross County fans who donated a bag each!
  2. Back in December we unfortunately had to postpone our food drive for Basics food BANK - North Lanarkshire. Over the festive period Basics are inundated with donations to the point where it can be a struggle for the staff & volunteers to process the sheer volume. Unfortunately, once the festive period is behind us, reality hits home. Around this time of year donations dry up. The collection will now take place ahead of Saturday's match at Fir Park v Ross County and as always we would like to encourage all supporters, both home and away, to give what you can. Desirable items are tinned meat, soup, tinned custard, tinned hotdogs, UHT long life milk, tinned tomatoes, super noodles, savoury rice and carrier bags. There will also be collection tins for those who may want to make a cash donation to help with the overheads and monthly running costs. The collection point will be situated outside the Well Shop at the Davie Cooper Stand from 2pm. As always, thank you for your continued support and for displaying a community spirit that, we believe, truly represents the values of Motherwell Football Club.
  3. An update from the guys at the SIWY Fanzine, for those who may not have access to Facebook, Twitter or any other form of Social Media. Back in December we unfortunately had to postpone our food drive forBasics food BANK - North Lanarkshire. The collection will now take place ahead of Saturday's match at Fir Park v Aberdeen FC and as always we would like to encourage all supporters, both home and away, to give what you can. Desirable items are tinned meat, tinned custard, tinned hotdogs, UHT long life milk, tinned tomatoes, super noodles, savoury rice and carrier bags. Due to the fantastic generosity of the local community the staff at the foodbank have been inundated with soup, beans, pasta and tea bags so if possible please bring items from the desirable list. The collection point will be situated outside the Well Shop at the Davie Cooper Stand from 1:45pm. As always, thank you for your continued support and for displaying a community spirit that truly represents the values of the Football Club.
  4. Sectarian shite? Say whaaat?! Behave.
  5. Annan or Alloa away if they both go through to tick off another 1 from the 42!
  6. No club in Scotland has ever been fined for the use of pyrotechnics by fans within their grounds.
  7. Why do numbers make a difference regarding the usage of pyro? Any form of atmosphere at Motherwell games is a bonus regardless of how many.
  8. Heard the club let them go after several visits to some sleazy boozers in our capital city that morning though....
  9. Thought i had wondered on to the Huddleboard there for a moment....
  10. Kids section?! Excuse me? FYI, without wanting to point the blame at anyone for the club potentially getting an unnecessary fine, the first few folk on the pitch came from the opposite end of the "Kids section" Bed-Wetter.
  11. It's all good, we were safe. It was a dead pylon.
  12. Berwick away for me, only ground out of the non-seeded teams i've not been too yet.
  13. Central Branch has an over 21's policy...
  14. Big thanks to everyone who donated to the Lanarkshire Basics Food Bank today, once again it was successful.
  15. Motherwell Bois Food Drive - Saturday 23rd May. On Saturday 13th December we coordinated a food drive at Fir Park with all proceeds being donated to Basics Food Bank. Again, like we did at the time, we would like to thank each and every person who donated that day. The amount of parcels collected from very generous 'Well fans as well as some far travelled Ross County supporters was overwhelming and highlighted the real community spirit throughout Motherwell and across Scotland. Unfortunately these donations can only go so far and we strongly believe that supporters of Motherwell have a duty of care not only to support the football club during difficult times but also support their community. We would like to emphasis that in the current climate the day to day running of a Foodbank can be extremely challenging due a decrease in supply yet increase in demand. For that reason we will be coordinating another collection on Saturday 23rd May at Fir Park prior to the match against Partick Thistle. We understand that for many people across the country times are tough however we would like to encourage 'Well fans, and fans of Partick, to give what they can! Where to find us - Outside the Davie Cooper Stand / The Well Shop from 1:45pm up until kick off! What to bring - Non perishable food! The following items are desirable: tinned custard, tinned fruit, tinned meat, tinned fish, soup, noodles, beans, tea bags and any basic toiletries. Please note this list is advisory, not exhaustive. Stress that this isn't being done out of a sense to seem charitable. The foodbank have been in touch saying they have been struggling big time. Motherwell fans have been great all season with not much to cheer for on the pitch. Let's end it on a high note. Also, if you can share on facebook, twitter etc it would be appreciated. Cheers.
  16. Just giving this a bump up to the top of the page.
  17. There will be a link somewhere due to it being covered on Shellic TV. Just mute yer volume though. Nothing worse than listening to Paddy and Brendan doing the commentary!
  18. Can we no take Burns out and play with 10 men?!
  19. What kind of Fred Perry do you wear?! Wow.....Dan looks like an Neapolitan Ice Cream wearing that thing.
  20. The pool/snooker hall will be showing the game apparently, along with the Aberdeen game beforehand. Edit, that pool hall is in Bellshill.
  21. The snooker/pool hall in Bellshill is showing the game, plus the Aberdeen game beforehand.
  22. Wasn't going to go but booked it late last night after getting ridiculously jealous of the rest of the Bois booking up. Leaving Wednesday morning Glasgow > Gatwick > Reykjavik, before returning on the Friday night Reykjavik > Brimingham and then the train home from Birmingham on the Saturday morning! Just over £200 for that. Going to be a cracker of the trip!
