See how the majority of folk said they would be happy with avoiding the playoff's this season? Were they all expecting some sort of weird anomaly of a season where you finish 10th AND win loads of games?4 points

A few different strands to points made thus far post-match. Criticism of the display tonight is most certainly warranted. Very very poor stuff. Ironically just when we seemed to have weathered the storm, spent a few minutes at the end of the first half in and around their box and actually looked reasonably lively in the second half - we concede. But no arguments about the result. Fair reflection over the piece. No real surprise to see who and some of what has been posted immediately after full-time. If you don't particularly like or rate Robinson, have any faith in his signings or like the style of play - which several posters quite clearly don't then a night like tonight is very much an open goal for you. So not a surprise to see who's been lining up for the tap in. For me taking a broader perspective the big question is at what point are we at in our evolution under Robinson? If this is as a good as it gets under him then it wouldn't seem unreasonable to question is the style of play going to be effective over a longer term? Is the the form worthy of greater scrutiny and should we be concerned at the way the points appear to have been harvested at the beginning of the season? However to me there is nothing that suggests to me that this is the end of the cycle just yet. Priority one from last season to avoid the drop - acheived. Squad gutted - achieved. Better league position this season - achieved. Cup runs - achieved. We have not as has been suggested been mostly awful and it is ludicrous to suggest we should be considering the manager's position. That's not to say that Robinson doesn't have a big summer ahead of him. I think there is an expectation that the squad should improve in quality and that having found a generally effective and pragmatic style of play that has got us so far that it should evolve further in a style easier on the eye, perhaps in tandem with a nudging up in quality of the squad. There will also be an expectation level that reaching the latter stages of cup competitions and getting back into the six will be a greater priority, I was intrigued and impressed at how he dealt with the caretaker role. I was intrigued and have been impressed at how he handled the rebuild and how for the most part his first season in charge has gone successfully. I remain intrigued to see how he handles the progression of the squad to the next level.2 points

See, not for me. I agree that the football is often very short on quality, but the character and commitment on show from the team more than makes up for it for me. We replaced something like 17 players this season (someone can no doubt provide the exact figure), and given the lack of foresight from his predecessor, Robinson’s first full season was always going to be one of transition, and building a core from which to build a team. He’s done incredibly well to lower the average age of the squad, secure key players on longer term deals, and add some quality. Next season we need to see forward progress, no doubt. But to make lasting progress there needs to be a solid base. If a transitional season brings us narrowly missing out on top six, a cup final, and chance at another, I’m really looking forward to seeing what the next season brings, when the manager has more of a chance to build on his foundations.2 points

Haven't seen this posted... https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cedric-kipre-talks-new-motherwell-12293418 Cedric Kipre talks new Motherwell deal with defender set to put pen to paper for third time in nine months The 21-year-old stopper has been a hit with the Fir Park faithful and insists he's in the perfect place to continue his development. 18SHARES By Michael Gannon 04:30, 3 APR 2018 SPORT 18SHARES Get Sport updates directly to your inbox + Subscribe Cedric Kipre is ready to sign on the dotted line at Motherwell for a third time in nine months. And the defender wants to celebrate by snapping up silverware with the Steelmen. The 21-year-old penned a one-year deal when he arrived from Leicester last July but added an extra 12 months just six weeks later and is now set to land an even longer-term contract. ADVERTISING inRead invented by Teads The former PSG youth – who last month earned his first call-up to the Ivory Coast senior squad – admitted he’s at the perfect club to continue his development and he has set his sights on dumping Aberdeen in next week’s Scottish Cup semi at Hampden. Kipre will face the Dons on league duty tonight and said: “We are still negotiating so we will see what happens. “Hopefully in the next few days it will be signed because I am happy to stay. I am feeling good. “I am still young and have a lot to learn. I still make mistakes so have to keep progressing. We’ll see where it takes me one day. “There is lot to achieve here. We have the opportunity to get to another final and hopefully this time we can go on and win it.” Kipre admitted the last month has been a rollercoaster with his controversial red card in the draw with Celtic, his international call-up and then the dramatic 2-2 draw with Rangers at the weekend. The youngster’s feet have barely hit the floor but while Well boss Stephen Robinson reckons it’s only a matter of time before the centre-half makes a move to the English top flight, Kipre revealed he’s happy to stay in Scotland for the foreseeable future. READ MORE Motherwell and Aberdeen squads revealed ahead of Fir Park clash He said: “It has been a crazy few weeks. Obviously the red card wasn’t good but the decision was changed and it was great to be involved in the international team. “I have had a decent season and the call-up was a nice reward. “It showed I made a good decision coming here. I wanted to play men’s football, play regularly and I have managed to do that here. It’s nice to hear the manager say I will be playing in the English Premier League soon but I know I still have a lot to learn.” Kipre’s sending off against Celtic was overturned after an appeal and he insisted the clash with Scott Brown didn’t merit a red. The Hoops skipper has been involved in running battles with several rivals in recent weeks with red cards shown to Aberdeen’s Sam Cosgrove and Ross County’s Andrew Davies either side of the Motherwell man’s ordering off. Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers accused rivals of putting a bullseye on his captain’s back – but Kipre insisted his flashpoint was nothing personal. Kipre clashed with Scott Brown at Fir Park He said: “He’s not a target. He is a player like everyone else. It didn’t matter if it’s Hearts or Hibs or anyone, it’s the same thing.” Meanwhile, Well boss Robinson is adamant tonight’s Dons clash won’t be a dress rehearsal for Hampden on April 14. He said: “It’ll be treated as a separate entity. Aberdeen have had a super season and are going for second spot so I don’t think anyone will be saving anything or trying to keep secrets ahead of the semi-final. “Both teams want to win and it will be a competitive fixture. I’ll be setting up to win the game.”2 points

I know everybody who wants a ticket will get 1 but as I am very interested in my team as a season ticket holder , share holder , and well society member would be nice to know how our sales are going . Other people think differently but not asking for much for an update just interested in knowing what kind of numbers we will be taking .1 point

It was a penalty, but we'd have been moaning if it was given against us. Small amount of contact resulting in going down like an Olympic swimmer off the blocks. Rightly or wrongly, some refs wouldn't have given anything for it in the middle of the park, let alone in the box.1 point
