It was just Charles Green talking shite as usual. Pricing for any cup game must be agreed on by the two sides involved, if not it is defaulted to the regular home ticket price.
I thought this was the case. I have mentioned this to the folks in work but they come back with perfect examples of why we call them knuckle draggers.
In any case I hope your support turn up like never before, give it to them big style and the Well pump them on the park.

Intrigued with this post as the rumour has it that Rangers were going to offer away fans a chance to buy a programme at £14, with a £1 voucher in that programme to get into the game, supposedly to screw your club from making any money from the match?
Not sure how gate money is shared (or not) in the game but if the away club gets the money for their allocation sold then 'The (wee) Rangers' are trying to pull a fast one. I hope that (if this is all true) all Motherwell fans see through this and BUY a ticket, and not a programme.
Again, may only be rumour.

On the result? Well that all depends on who turns up for Hearts. They have given 60% effort in recent years at Fir Park expecting just to turn up and win. If they don't 1-0 or 2-1 Motherwell. If they do, 3-0 Hearts

Sounds like good game and a good comeback well done to yer team. I wish mine would get it out their heads that 3rd place isnt in the bag and never was and that when 3-0 up it is not ok to go into 2nd gear.
With this game and united v killie game earlier its a good advert for the game especially during a period when the old firm society is trying to kill our game.

I was actually in the Motherwell end in '91 as an 8 year old going to support the local team.
Anyways, what do you think the odd's will be on a Motherwell win? I might stick a cheeky £20 on you lot to stuff them. (well at least sneak it... either way, happy days)

the spl stats actually makes suprising reading, i thought hearts would have held a bigger advantage. when you consider their crowds are 4 times ours and they've ran up 30 million of debt during that period it shows how badly they've been ran.
here's a question for the jambo. how many 6-0 wins in that period?
here's another wee fact as well. in the same period the cup record is motherwell 3 wins, 1 draw, hearts 0 wins.
I only gave the stats for the period of the SPL so it didn't look too bad on your mob!
Anyhow, what about our 7-1 demolition of Dunfermline? Enlighten me, how many 6-0 wins do you have in that period? Cup games against Inverurie are not included.
And how many cup trophies in the past 20 years? How many top 3 places in the last 20 years? Ever been to the UEFA Cup Quarters?
