Really miss Watt's ability to hold the ball and get others involved. Long ball upfield isn't sticking at all. Also, no point in Lawless being on the pitch at the moment, he is not being used at all. St.Mirren are moving the ball well, moving it quickly and effectively. They are making Motherwell look like a lower league team.

Really concerned by this performance. Out fought and out played by St Mirren at home.

Second best all over the pitch for the whole of the game so far.

Another nice move. Reverse pass back to Cole was the ball though. The shot was awful.

First 10 minutes we are nowhere near St Mitten.

I thought that Lawless was on the ball a lot and so caught the eye, but for me Alan Campbell was the man. He won a lot of ball in the middle of the park today. He seemed very lively and never stopped running. Add to the all round performance, the goal of the match with a wee nutmeg in the build up and that was enough to seal my vote.

Until the first goal it was looking difficult. Once that went in, the game changed and the second half certainly opened up. An important result that keeps the hope alive for a positive end to the season.

Pleased with the 2 goal cushion. I guess it can be considered a professional performance, but really not making much through quality of play, but more down to errors by the Formartine defence. Hoping for a bit more in the second half when Formartine will have to open up a bit if they want to get back into this.

Credit to McGinley and Gallagher for stepping in and nicking the ball on two occasions there to keep the pressure on that resulted in the second goal.
