OK, so Hateley had a disaster of a game at Tynecstle and his confidence took a knock at the end of last season, but I see a big difference so far this season - I think he has turned it around and is coming back into form. Give the guy a chance.

Totally agree. Sissoko was showing class up until then and should be ashamed of himself for those tactics. A player of his quality is only demeaning himself by diving, going for an Oscar in the pain department, getting stretchered off and then popping up to come back on a matter of seconds later. Should be a straight yellow card at least.

On the whole though, great effort by the lads. Just not enough luck falling to us - it could have bee different. Great atmosphere. Even when we went behind. Shows promise of things to come in the SPL

Ended up a fine game. 4-2 to the 'Well youngsters (mostly around 17yr olds!) playing some gey hairy-arsed big Juniors. It was skill and fleetness of foot vs brute force, but we won the day - and a trophy to boot. The Wishaw Cup. Medals an' all!

£4 entry for adults, kids free, I'm told. and a wee hut that serves Chapman's pies. What more could you ask for?
