We are not actually offering to pay him. Just loan him the money to see if he’s still any good.
And if not, we move on

Hope the rumours aren’t true ( dodgy knee)
if so then I’m afraid we will never get the 3 mil we are looking for even if he stays another season and scores double figures again
he will be tainted as too high a risk for potential suitors without getting it fixed and getting it fixed may take something from his game
every op does I’m afraid, but he is young enough to adapt and possibly become better over time

Well, let's hope so, and let's hope it's all went smoothly for both the boy and for us.
What I'd heard wasn't all that great, and sounded like it could have been problematic. Obviously just heresay though if he's already en route to Celtic's training camp.
What exactly are ge issues you have heard?

I'm gonna take a stab and guess it's the reference to the 'tattiedome".
Yeah I know it is, but that’s not sectarian in the slightest
That’s got nothing to do with religion , Irish immigrants yes, catholic’s no
protestants and catholic’s both lives in Ireland and came over here as a result of the famine
but anyway, nothing to do with football
mon the well
lets get a signing in today

Racist sectarian bile posts. Why's this not banned? As a Catholic Motherwell fan im offended by this. Can moderator take action?
I’m also a catholic and I don’t see the reference to sectarianism in this at all??

Some of our support are absolutely miles out.
David Turnbull is a Motherwell fan. He signed an extension with us to ensure the club would benefit from his sale instead of doing a Hastie.
Ok he has moved to Celtic.
However, he has done so in the knowledge that a couple good seasons he will move on and our club will earn another significant windfall.
He will undoubtedly go on to be one of the best talents to come out of Scotland in recent years.
We should be delighted that he is one of us and that he got his start at Fir Park.
It wont be nice to see him come back to FirPark in the green and white. But we need to suck it up and respect what he has done for us.
My thoughts exactly
all the best DT

Only to a different part of the same business.
Never heard of an employee being loaned out a competitor for training (at the competitor's expense) and bringing them back in house a year later.
Happens all the time in my line of work, my last two promotions in house were gained via going on secondment to competitor at the level at their cost to them come back to my main employer into the role I was doing elsewhere as I proved I was capable

What's weird about it? We're paying a salary to a competitor's employee so we can develop them (on the cheap) for the competitor.
And not only do we not get the benefit of playing the loanee against their employer, but we fill a spot in the first team that could have been used to develop one (or more) of our own players; which is a longer term benefit to the club.
I can't think of any other business that operates that way.
Never heard of a secondment??

£3million quid for 19 yo Scottish midfielder who has played 30 games and doesn’t come from the old firm or an English club
dont think there are many that have done that in the past
lets put this into perspective.
I can only think of Ryan Gould off top of my head and maybe Andy Robertson
What we are getting is a good deal
i don’t see how anyone else can see that it’s not, regardless of who he signs for

At least he's scored for us, I'm sure he scored a cracker of an og while at Inverness
-
Does anyone know of any names of players linked to us or have any inside knowledge of anything
I have heard a few myself from James Keatings to Eoin Doyle
-
That's why I don't agree with a null vote option, if your not at the game or don't think anyone was good just don't vote

Cautiously optimistic for today, 2-1 well, let's get into them from the off today.
On a side note, do we know if any bus tickets still available or if anyone has a spare?
Please let me know
Cmon ye well!!!
-
We need to put them to the sword they couldnt beat albion rovers or morton no real experience 11 new players that clearly havent gelled a real chance to show our own quality here and should be looking to walk away with all 3 points anything less is a massive dissapointment
Eh, neither could we
-
Cheers guys didn't realise it was available cheers
-
Can make tonight, any radio coverage??
-
Why? Name me one more valuable asset in the playing staff and I shall concede to your superiority.
Louis Moult? Scott McDonald? Chris Cadden?
-

.I'm that disinterested in Plymouth Argyle I didn't even bother to check which league they are in.
My bad, huh?
Anyway, at least I made you feel good by proving someone wrong on the internet.
Touchy CM?
-
Put simply, if you had Ainsworth in your team for your play-offs, you would now be in the Championship, and you would be on your way to doing a Leicester.
Remember to sign the cheque, we'll give him a lift down.

Or league 1 perhaps? -
Quite possibly.
You've no business posting on here though if you are.
Roon ye.
Ha ha cheers

Am I for real? what's wrong with you? A thousand Hibs fans go charging down the pitch to goad Rangers fans - what did you think was going to happen?
The miracle is that thousands of Rangers fans didn't jump the barrier and set about them, and they are due credit for that.
A bit shocking that fans attacked Rangers players? the real shock is that Rangers fans watched it and didn't go to town. Engage your brain before posting this drivel - Hibs fans are to blame for this.
I thought they would leave and not go into the park for a scrap, or at least just give them it back. Sorry for thinking that folk would behave, it's the morons that entered the pitch to fight that are to blame and that's on both sides.
And as I said, no one deserves credit about it at all.
Maybe I'm in a minority and have a brain but if opposing fans ran into the fir park pitch celebrating winning a historic game It wouldn't bother me if they were saying GIRUY
But that's my opinion on it, and I know plenty who don't think it's drivel
So GIRUY

Wouldn’t be against this myself as long as Pete can prove his fitness
this back 3 has excellent attributes spread across the 3, height and passing with Gallagher, leadership strength and passing with Pete and pace and strength with Dunne
only thing is I think Dunnes pace will be lost through the middle of Pete gets done easily ( which was evident last year on occasion)
The natural shape of the 3 pushing dunne too wide left, to help cover holes with his pace in behind which worked well for us when he played in a middle 2 last year
just my thoughts
