Although all the blame must lie with the coaching staff for our fitness woes, it seems utterly ridiculous that professional sportsmen wouldn't take it upon themselves to keep fit over summer. Even going for a half hour run every couple of days should keep them ticking over but it's evident from the highlights that they've not even bothered to do that.

I wasn't there tonight, but it's absolutely appalling if our fitness levels were as bad as they've been made out to be.

I think both teams could have stepped it up a few gears if needed. Fulham were clearly the better side though. Dom Thomas looked good but it's always hard to judge in friendlies. Good to see Hutchy acknowledging the fans, although it did get a bit sycophantic towards the end.
