Way I see it is, these guys would probably not consider signing for us but because they respect JG he managed to get them to sign, he would rather have them for a year than not at all. These guys are using us as a stepping stone (which is cool) and will most likely be off to bigger and better things. But other young english boys will see whats happened to these one year ones and know the football JG plays and now see us as a good option. Take a hit with these ones and get the rest of them signed up on longer contracts. Mon ra dossers

I rate him and I hope he stays with us. Motherwell fans it seems to me always like to give stick to their own players and hound them out. Kevin Mcbride was imo unfairly treated while he was here, Fagan was given a hard time, Alex Burns, Kevin Townsley and John Davies are other ones I can remember. There are probably others before them that I don't know of. Anyone that pulls on a well jersey gets my full support. Thats not me being a 'happy clappy' well fan but i've never shouted abuse at any of our own players. I don't know why its such a problem at Fir Park.

I stand by my comment! I'm all for players moving onto better things and I don't mind seeing us as a stepping stone. But Falkirk? We stood by him. he should of stood by us and taken a 1 year deal and proved his worth, proved that he can go a season without getting injured and we would have given him a longer deal or he could of gone on a bosman.
