  1. See our former youth goalkeeper Ross Stewart kept a clean sheet for Queen of South as they beat Alloa.
  2. Bookies have obviously listened to MJC - 12/1 Well win. I have loved hearing opposition fans booing their teams off at half-time (and even leaving after 60 mins) after being completely outclassed. Don't normally go near Parkhead, but going along tomorrow in the hope that the bookies (and MJC) might just have this one wrong. 🫣
  3. I thought Hearts and Aberdeen fully tested our new expansive, attractive game and we came out with a draw and a win. I hope that on Sat we will continue on our improvement and come away with a solid victory. COYW
  4. As a young boy I was privileged to play with Bobby at our primary school. He was some player. My hero was St John, so I was very interested in everything Liverpool, and followed Bobby's career. I was so pleased when he signed for the 'Well and what joy he brought with his partnership with Willie Pettigrew. Condolences to Bobby's family and friends. A true' Well legend. RIP Bobby 🙏
  5. MJC Just can't bring himself to forecast a positive result for the 'Well!!! Reverse psychology?????
  6. Won't be able to play against Alloa as they (like us) will be unseeded.
  7. My boyhood hero. Was heartbroken when he signed for Liverpool - a second division team at that time.
  8. Same here. My tickets are nowhere near the tickets purchased. 🤔
  9. He should have had two bookings long before his "soft" one he got sent off for. The referee allowed the physicality to go on too long unpunished. Robbo is delusional. 🥵 .
  10. Looking forward to a good day out to Aberdeen. Hope the team can put on another performance that continues on our recent improvement (and ends with a win, hopefully) ⚽⚽
  11. Aye right. That £22 will buy me a couple of fish suppers on Sat. when up at Hibs, so I'm sorry, but I'll just give the plastic pitch (at £22) a miss. So COYW!!!
  12. Got to agree. Wilson consistently gets pulled into the middle. Aston`s distribution is so frustrating at times. He should take some tips from our young academy goalie (Matty on loan with East Kilbride) on how to find a teammate quickly and accurately from hand and feet.
  13. Lasley for me. Work rate was tremendous, never stopped and added another goal to his tally. Thought the team generally looked a bit sluggish but still put together some nice passages of play and must be commended for fighting to the very end (nice to see us "doing " a team in the last 5 mins. Did`nt think we had it in our armour) Well done to all.
  14. Funny enough, I just said that to my son as Carswell covered a lot of ground and made a few good challanges. I think he compliments the midfield runners and leads to a better balance overall. He is always available and looking for the ball to keep the play flowing with a few simple passes (much the way Jennings did previousley) I would like to see him getting an extended run to see if he can perform at a consistent level. A good team performance today against a fine Inverness outfit who just faded a little after we knocked the stuffing out of them by scoring early in the second half. Lets just keep the same level of determination to win over the next few games,
  15. Thats the only statistic that worries me prior to `Well playing any team. We love to help the underdog by tradition but hopefully we will show a selfish, ruthless streak on Sat.
