Just to put it in to perspective. Lee spent 9 years here, playing for the national team at every age group and we might get £500k tops.
Danny Ings left Bournemouth and has had 1-2 decent seasons for Burnley in 4 years, they will get £9m in compo for a player they didn't produce. Excellent.

Great result. Compares with the cup win against Dundee United but not only tarnished by the fight at the
end but also the old bald idiot that whacked McCulloch on the face with his flag stick. It is a disgrace.
I hope the club identify him and ban him from all future games. I do not want scum like that bringing the great name of Motherwell FC into disrepute.

Maybe if more fans phoned these half-wits in the papers and voiced their opinions they would stop attacking the players like Lasley and start pointing the finger at the some of the real culprits in the game like: Mr C. Allan. Can someone tell me what journalists actually contribute to the game of football, especially clubs like ours, Kilmarnock, St Mirren etc. When I challenged Duncan about what he wrote about Keith Lasley his reply was it was his right under freedom of the press. This is a man who comes to Fir Park, gets a free parking space ('Well fans pay £6 to park there), gets in for zilch to the Centre Stand (somewhere most of us cannot afford) and then goes away and writes a column asking why a Motherwell player wasn't booked for persistent fouling??????????? 2/5 Keith Lasley gets booked first touch on Friday night against Killie! If He does I think we can all thank Colin Duncan for that.
QUESTION: What does the Daily Record do for clubs like Motherwell F.C.

Phoned Colin Duncan @ the Daily Record this morning (Tuesday) after his disgraceful article slagging Keith Lasley for committing a load of fouls and getting away without a booking. I pointed out, that in my opinion, he should be not be naming players in print, especially Keith Lasley who is, in my opinion, a marked man with referees anyway. Duncan's excuse was that it was not Lasley he was having a go at but the referee! I asked then why he mentioned Lasley and not Allan? It was all tongue in check he said!!!!!!!!
Message to future referees: Colin Duncan of the Daily record was only kidding, oor Keith is not a dirty player it is just an average journalist having a laugh.....................
