  1. Due something against this mob, think I am right in saying 4 years or so without a win against them is the longest we have went since I started going to games in the early 1990s If we can keep them quiet and limit their chances then hopefully can get at least a draw.
  2. Would give Watt a deal til the end of the season and see what happens from there as nothing to lose. One thing I have noticed about Robinson's time in charge is that players are usually moved on quickly if things are not working out
  3. Mr Bradford City he is He just cant stay away from the place for too long lol Best of luck to him as he was harshly sacked the last time he was there.
  4. Seems like good money for Scott in my opinion. A few of the guys sitting near me last weekend were hoping Robinson would drop him anyway for this weekend lol Heres hoping we bring someone in tonight now.
  5. I seem to remember a few years back Tam Cowan being quite critical of the Well at times when he had a column, think it was in the matchday programme. Sure I heard someone pulled him up for it at the time, either John Swinburne or Bill Dickie maybe.
  6. Absolutely fed up with Sevco, I quite enjoy the fact they are winning nothing after their attitude towards all the other clubs in the last 8 years. Don't get me wrong I despise Celtic every bit as much at times and love a victory against them in equal measures, but I personally have a lot more friends and family who are Rangers fans who take great delight in rubbing it in that their team always has been so glorious. Every time they win a game all I hear about is that they are going for Number 55. On social media on Sunday night it was quite quiet which was very enjoyable. Ideal scenario from a Motherwell point of view is we beat Celtic on the 5th and then beat Rangers as well to deny both teams the points they are so desperate for.
  7. Craggs is definetly the best when covering Scottish football without being biased, despite not many people liking Chris Sutton him and Craggs are definetly a good pairing and our answer to Carragher and Neville. Quite like BT's coverage of Scottish football in general which is way better than Sky who tend to talk the Scottish game down unless they are talking about two teams from Glasgow.
  8. Totally agree, it is amateur stuff up here in comparison to the premiership in England. Very few Scottish pundits actually worth listening to.
  9. Delighted with the 3 points, turning into what could be a very great season.
  10. Noticed Craig Tanner scored again for Aldershot at the weekend
  11. If there is CCTV footage and it has happened then it definetly puts the club in a bit of an awkward situation whatever their thoughts. Will surely affect any chances he had of the Northern Ireland job if it turns out it is true. Until it is though which is not a definite I am sure his position wont be affected in any way and we carry on business as usual with hopefully a win on Saturday.
  12. Could do a very good job for us if we were able to get him for the rest of the season
  13. Exactly the type of comments I expect from that mob. Always the victim, same as their friends from across the city. Pity we couldn't send them back to the bottom tier but this time keep them there
  14. Delighted with the 3 points Great Christmas present, a very important result in the battle for third place.
  15. https://www.eveningexpress.co.uk/sport/robinson-appreciates-very-lucky-position-at-motherwell-after-alessio-dismissal/ Interesting article, Sounds like Robbo realises he is in a really good position with the Well and doesn't sound in a hurry to leave anytime soon.
  16. Will be a tough game but confident we can get a result. Only danger is I have a feeling Killie will put on a good show for Dyer. Great chance to get back 3rd tomorrow as well as Aberdeen usually lose by a few against Celtic.
  17. Has to be Gillespie, if it wasn't for him it could easily have been a few more yesterday
  18. It is about time we take 3 points of this mob, rather than just hope for a draw at best. Hopefully yesterdays game and Thursday night will take a lot out of them and we get in about them from the very first minute.
  19. Stuart McCall has been interviewed for the Hearts job and now one of the favourites apparently.
  20. Must be as far back as the 1980s at least Since I have started going to watch Well in the early 1990s we have managed at least one victory against Celtic every 2/3 years.
  21. Sounds like Tommy Wright is now the clear favourite.
  22. Robinson only came in as Assistant after Dempster had left about 6 months before
  23. Another tough game tomorrow, fancy us to edge it again with another 2-1 victory
  24. Honestly don't see Robinson going anywhere before the end of the season.
  25. We really do make it hard for ourselves at times, but last night was all about getting the 3 points against a team so close to us in the table and we did that.
