  1. Maybe some flexibility in full backs we bought. Generally full backs are quick and pace can be utilised in final 3rd. Buyabu is predominantly a full-back but can operate further forward also
  2. Brighton meticulous about analysis and success speaks for its self. Much more focussed and less of a lottery. Can have world wide data on most players but specific data too.
  3. So would you rather have 2 playable and inexperienced strikers and no option to change it via subs? Or rest strikers? Looks like as other options did not come to much. This was our last viable option.
  4. Any the older guys remember we got Francis Jeffers after the window in 2011? At one point £8 million striker. Got 1 in 10 for well but played well. Linked up well
  5. Lol yes I'm fed up being negative. Need to laugh now. My son is 12 and he was worried it was true. Lol.
  6. Yes certainly agree. I detect fans irascible and a degree of discontent.
  7. That is depressing. Fan ownership don't work with such a small fan base and committee led decisions. We need to show initiative. Think outside the box. Innovation. Sadly the model don't allow if. I do think we could have signed can Veen but we have a very risk averse model. Least he won't celebrate when he scores against us.
  8. Very poor indeed. Van Veen deal was possible. Now we short up front.
  9. Hibs guy looks a good prospect. Must be a few more in prem or championship who can't get game for bigger clubs. Could use the v veen money we would have spent.
  10. Maybe he's gonna play some of the full backs in midfield left or mid right.
  11. Keep it to players in and out. It's not a competition for being best supporter.
  12. Can we not give Morelos a gig for 3 months? Keep him away from the Brandon chippy.
  13. Guy showed great composure and football intelligence. Wish him well.
  14. Well said. The one area of park we are bare in. What if Theo gets injured?
  15. Totally agree. It's not a ridiculous gamble. It's what we could make from I firm match in cup or a couple of league places. We getn TV cup money too. It wouldn't break the bank. My son and I do disappointed we didn't get van veen.
  16. Any signings a gamble. It may inspire others to reach his level. Done if the on Lian guys will be on good money anyway.
  17. If we matched Killie. A similar size club. He may have chosen us as he's played for us before but not to be. Was so hoping to see him and Bair.
  18. I would imagine if it's us against Ross county or at Johnston. Van veen would be the difference. Look at the draws we had against them.
  19. It is about ambition and speculating. A proven goal scorer for a few grand extra that we could make back by place in table and cup run. Have also money from players we sold wilkinon and Turnbull.
  20. Totally agree. We have chance of cup run and higher league place and also extra insurance against the drop. Big chance missed there. He will get them into Europe and longer in cup.
  21. What a signing for Kilmarnock. Was hoping we would show some ambition and get van veen. Maybe get a good cup run or chance of top 6. No ambition or innovation from board.
  22. Did you actually watch last 5 or 6 games. ? It's not first hint of trouble. 1 point from 21 is not a hint of trouble. Strategy and performance have been very poor.
  23. When a clubs run like a committee then decisions are slow and we lack innovation. Its run by amateurs. Hope we find a Soudi backer. It's becoming turgid and boring. More difficult to get sons to be well fans. 4 games now I've took my son to against st midden twice killie and livingstone and not even scored 1 goal. 360 minutes of rank rotten football without even 1 goal. Lost all of them. If I subject my son to any more social work could get involved. Van vern prob saved us last season🙂
