Cheers for the kind words Hot, very impressed with a lot of your team and the way that they play football. I would love to watch a team playing football like that every week. Blonde dudes name is Paul Slane only 17 and a good player.

Got back from the game , I was really impressed by your GK and the blonde dude on the left side. He's got some moves and he tricked our RB(albeit a very good one) several times. I don't know his age, but he looked like a kid
. A very good footballer though.Keep your squad together and have faith in them. You are at a beginning of a journey, and the beginnings are always tough.

65 euro is a lot , I don't believe it . I know the company , my uncle worked there and I really don't think it will cost that much. If you want a cab from the airport to downtown - only 20 euros or even less. I know this because I actually went to the airport two weeks ago and had to pick a cab because it was late.

Doin a bit of creepin on Wikipedia there, I see some guy they signed last year, "Kapetanos" plays upfront, not bad goal ratio think it said 11 out of 23 games or something but 8 of they goals have came after the 83rd minute...

Nothing outstading, just some good headers and he likes to pick up the garbage and score from inside the box.

Only that they are currently the sixth best team in Romania and are pre-qualifying for Europe in the same way as Motherwell. The Romanian league isn't renowned for its strength, which suggest to me they aren't a great side these days. If they were vastly superior to Motherwell, they wouldn't be meeting at this very early stage.
I wouldn't put too much stock into this. The fans and the media always felt that Steaua has the best core of players on paper and they were clear cut favourites every year for the championship. Unfortunately we were run in the last 2 years by incompetent coaches and a lot of drama from the owner(drama queen,prima donna etc) has rubbed off in a negative way on the players. That's why they underachieved badly .
Things have changed , our coach is a former Lazio captain , he brought a good mentality to the club and most important he brought stability and the clown doesn't have much time on his hands to manage the club(he's involved in politics nowadays) so the pressure isn't how it used to be .

What is the cheapest way to get from the airport to the city mate.
Just take a cab, you will spend a few extra bucks but you will get in time and your schedule won't be affected. Believe me , there isn't one single feeling worse than taking an overcrowded bus in the middle of the day when the sun is burning like hell.
About the food and beer , you will find it very cheap. The beer is 1 to 2 euros the most expensive one and the food if you go by fast-foods with 5 euros you will eat a lot of kentucky fried chicken and mcnugetts
Anyway , between Piata Romana and Universitatii there are a lot of fast-foods and places where you can eat and drink . Piata Unirii is near the corner too , so if you have the time check that place too. From there you can see "Casa Poporului" probably the most visited place in Bucharest.

Well the general consensus is that Motherwell will be a tougher opponent to get by and the score from last night has been given as example. Even our owner who is a clown and likes to give very optimistic reviews on the future games said that it's getting serious from now on .

Do you still have Goian and Radoi? Radoi got a bad injury against Italy I remember.
Goian is still here . As a matter of fact , both our CB's and the LB(even though he is way past his prime) are from the same team that went to the Uefa semifinal . And I think we improved in goal and on the RB. The problem is the midfield is no where near the level it was then and we miss our best striker from the last 10 years I could say(Dica the guy who scored 4 times in 6 games in the Champions League groups against top level competition).
Radoi is now playing in Arabia for a lot of cash

Welcome to the board mate. Who would you say are the real danger men in your team and what position do they play?
Thanks mate. Our best player or at least the guy who is on a hot streak right now seems to be Bogdan Stancu , the forward who had a goal and an assist in the first leg against Ujpest and another assist in the second game. He's got a good nose for the net and he can dangle like the best of them. Only 22 years old , he had a good ratio last season scoring 12 goals in 30 games as a 21 year old so that's pretty good. (It is rumoured that Inter Milano is keeping an eye on him )I like our goalkeeper , he's tall and can make huge saves. Only 23 years old and I think he could be one of the best prospects from Eastern Europe, definitely he's the future starter of the romanian national team . This guys stood out the most in the first two games , we have a good pair on defence ,both on the national team , Golanski as a right back is a member of Poland national team and Toja our midfielder and most creative player is a member of Columbia's national team.
About our weaknesses , certainly our left back is too old , short and he's not good at defending . Can cross the field but he hasn't much left in the tank. We don't have a strong defensive midfielder , our best player is on the injury list now and we replaced him with a 19 years old kid who has potential but also has a lot of work to do and isn't polished enough for that position.
Against counter-attack we aren't very good , our entire defence line isn't mobile enough nor has the speed to keep it up against forwards with good speed. We did very well against british teams because they play with long balls straight on their strikers and our defenders are like 194 cm (6 feet 4 ). And the goalkeeper is in the same range as well
We like to play a possesion game but we also can let the other team dominate , keep the pressure on us and strike on the counter-attack.
Like I said , you guys had a good chance against us because we are re-building right now and with a new coach and young players it's tough to get at the best possible level in one month .

Steaua is in a re-building mode with a new coach and a lot of players who are in their early 20's . This is the best chance for an underdog to catch some fire and upset the favourite. If you have any questions regarding the team or the players , feel free to ask.

Anyway , I'm hoping for a good game , our team is young and inexperienced so it will be a tough game for sure . If we play for a draw, we will get eaten alive . Our confidence isn't that great , score one goal early and it's anyone's game . Good luck to you too -

@Andy Harrow , I'm a Romanian and believe me I don't have any problems with Hungarians. Our both countries were brain-washed into thinking we are enemies when we are not and clearly this so called war it's all media hype and politics . And regardless of what will happen in Budapest between the fans I'm maintaining my position . I'm so sorry because these happened , the media from Hungary and especially from Romania encourages violence just so they can write more articles and sell more papers. I'm disappointed in our fans who displayed that banner , it's just a game at the end of the day . Look on the field, the players respect each other and they congratulated after the game.
Kudos to your coach, McStay is very civilised and fair-play. Your fans and our fans should look more into these and learn something from them , not from the press , not from the TV bullshit .
For the Motherwell fans , if you have any questions regarding Steaua just ask , I will more than gladly accept to share some info for you
. And answer me one question , if I'm coming to Scotland will we drink a beer or two all together ?

@FCSB , this is not the english version of Steaua forums so stop posting all these details about the team when nobody is really that interested. The series is over and the Well fans are much more interested in their own players than in ours , believe me . I can't believe how much bragging I've seen here from the romanian fans ..if one Well fan would come to our forums and post a bunch about his team and how great , and how good they really are compared to your team how would you feel ? especially if they beat you out in a series
Anyway , last night game was a great improvement from what I saw last week from Well . This team is young and Coke,Slane,Murphy have a great future ahead. You definitely deserved at least a draw , but at least your confidence level is high enough to start on a tear in the SPL . Good luck guys,it was fun to hang around with you .
I will definitely be back whenever I have the time and cheer on your hopefully future great results.
