I think we just wait until discussions have taken place and then we are in a position to decide. Everyone coming up with their own assessments when a lot could be hearsay. Let's focus on tomorrow as it's the priority...COYW
Don't bring sound rational thinking into this!!!!!!
What I like is Steelboys thought process where he has made his mind up that any potential deal with an outside investor will result in the death of Motherwell FC, which as far as I can see is based upon knowing:-
1- absolutely nothing
2- pure speculation
3- turning that speculation into fact in his head
But I do respect the fact that he is just carrying on with it as it makes for great reading 🤣
Steelboy, I get that you clearly love Motherwell and the fan ownership model but lets just actually wait and see what the details of the deal are 👍

Totally agree
A lot can be argued about how good or not they are as individual players or indeed how tactically aware (or not) the manager is but they certainly do try which is all we can ask!!!!!!!

That's not the case. It was a light hearted comment about Taylor Swift.
Try not to engage with this guy, he is turning into a parody of a Motherwell fan

I saw 1.5 million quoted as the proposed investment over a few years but not sure if that’s correct. We need all the help we can get but that amount doesn’t get me too excited. I could probably run through 1.5 Million nae bother in 3 years by myself. Now 1.5 million a year is getting better but not sure it’s “life changing” for Motherwell FC but could be enough so that we don’t have to worry so much about falling out of existence. Whether it’s 1.5 million a year or over a few years, I don’t think that’s enough to warrant giving up controlling share. I understand it’s not just money but also the integrity and intentions of the investor. All things being equal and asssuming the integrity of the investor I’d be looking for much larger investment than 1.5 million to give up controlling interest.
Its everything else he may bring with his team of people and contacts. He will have far superior media execs, sponsor opportunities etc etc which can only be a good thing as well as putting us in the window.
The only person ive seen touting the 1.5mil idea is Steelboy who im actually thinking is just a troll looking for reactions as he seems unhinged at any idea of Motherwell trying something a little different. I get the feeling he sits in a rage when we win 😜

The rumoured proposal is the American taking 51% of the club for £1.5m investment. The question put to the Society members was about losing the majority shareholding. It's fair to assume that's what's going to be on the table even if the money is different.
We don't even know if anyone is asking about long term protections in the negotiations. We seem to be expected to trust McMahon to act in the interests of the shareholders when he has already spent a large sum of his own money promoting the idea of giving an American the majority shareholding. Clearly he has a personal interest.
Hopefully we will be able to put questions forward to get details about not only what the American wants but also what he has ruled out before any vote but the way things have been handled so far doesn't make me optimistic.
Do you ever get tired of presenting rumours as facts???
You are clearly a glass half full kinda guy.........................said nobody ever!!!!!!!!!!!

People seem to be very excited about the connection to a household name brand in Netflix when he hasn't actually worked there for a number of years.
There is definitely a PR campaign running in the background here with the emphasis on the bid coming from a 'family' which always has positive associations rather than say 'producer of straight to TV movies'.
Do you ever take a positive spin on ANYTHING.....................Jesus Christ, utter misery at every turn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And who's fault is that 3 months in we know fuck all?
I agree that, as you say "we know fuck all" but would you like them to give you a full briefing in your livingroom or something???
It still doesn't help that you are just firing out speculation then forming an opinion on it as if its fact

People really need to stop making out that rumour is truth!!!!!!!
Until we know at least some of the facts stop making stuff up.
Some folk could start a fight in an empty room

Its safe to say we are going backwards with the current fan ownership model with the budget getting less and less (or so SK keeps saying) so its a certainty we need investment in one form or another.
The chances of a wealthy investor coming in for us whilst Scottish football is run in such a farcical manner with what in reality is very little prize money must be slim.
Id love a Wrexham story but can you imagine where Wrexham will be if the 2 owners get bored and sell up, that would be an utter car crash given their budget now, so for me we need sustainability and a model where we can get a slightly bigger budget or we'll be diving into the Championship in the not to distant future and who knows where that would take us.

Disagree. Cannot see how Butcher has to go but Bevis stays. Bevis is a good guy but he's cost us too many times defensively.
100000000% agree, decent big fella but utter baws at footy
