Just got in and should probably waited to calm down before posting but sod it.
McFadden was pathetic today just as he was in Europe and Hibs.He is useless on right wing.Every time he drifted inside Aberdeen countered up the park and he couldn't track back leaving us totally exposed on the wing at every counter attack
Hammell cost us the first penalty by not using his head and booting the ball clear.
Angol tries but is a better left back than attacking midfielder.
McCalls tactics are rank rotten.
No creativity just pump the ball towards Sutton and hope for the best.
All in all
Total rank performance and a long season ahead.

One man's 4-5-1 is anothers 4-4-1-1 is anothers 4-4-2. The differences are neglible.
Essentially it was the same set up with different players.

I don't get how people thought we'd set up negatively at home? It was exactly the same formation we used last season but with different personnel. Difference was we were playing a better team that didn't give us the time we had in the SPL last season. That and the fact we have less pace than last season...
How was it same as last season?
4-5-1 at home?

My boy spent all season getting these match attack cards.I'm lucky enough to know someone at the club who had them all signed.Since McFadden didn't have a card we had him sign the badge

I would hope that people wouldn't make a snap judgement on Hollis' ability on the basis of one game today.
By the same token, all those who decided he was a more than able replacement for Randolph on the basis of about three games in the last two years will maybe be a little more concerned now.

Maybe he's knackered, maybe he's not but he's free and surely worth at least offering him a trial with the second best team in Scotland??
Craig Gordon retired so he could get his insurance payout.
Career ending injury.
If he plays again he would have to give up the insurance money.Which is no doubt much more than he would make playing for us.
