  1. Janos Szekely said after the whole Ujpest thing, something along these lines:

"I am one hundred percent Romanian, it's not my fault my name is like that!"

This is a bigger slap for the Hungarians, than the banner.

  2. My biggest regret is that we didn't impress you guys like we did back home. The thing is that we could've, but we thought we're already qualified. I thought that the reserves, once in, they'll play they're hearts out, to impress the coach. Stupid mentality! We couldn't link 3-4 passes... Embarrasing for us. At least the Romanian supporters gave a nice show.

Not that I don't think you played great! You did, but we could've too. The ref was a clown, but saying that Steaua bribed the ref, it's a long and disrespectfull way.

This should've been a tighter score, you deserved it! But this is football. We've been fuck3d by the refs too in the past, and I don't think there is a team that wasn't "tricked" by a ref.

All in all, it was a great experience for us, and I know it's been for you too! You've surely got yourself another Well fan.

All the respect for Well and it's fans!

P.S. We'll be playing near Scotland the next round, Saint Patrick(Ireland) is our next opponent.

  3. You played a great game guys! You would've deserved a draw, but I can't say I'm not happy for the result.

Good luck in the SPL, you can play great when you have confidence in yourself!

    We'll keep in touch!

    Regards,

    Bogdan

  4. Yeah, but Tanase isnt so known in Europe, but his price should be at 10-15 mil of euros! GREAT SIGNING

I am happy Goian left, he is great, Becali didnt want to let him to go for 12 mil of euros some years ago and now he is almost 29...

You're exagerrating... Tanase has some skills, but to say that he is worth 10-15 mil € is hilarious!

Becali said Dayro will be worth 20 mil euros, and the same he said about Andrei Cristea and Banel Nicolita... Becali is stupider than a rock.

  5. Our team for thursday's match:

    GK: Tatarusanu, Zapata

Def: Ghionea, P. Marin, Golanski, Baciu, Ninu, Tudose, Tininho, A. Iacob

Mid: Grzelak, Onicas, Nicolita, Ionescu, Ochirosii

    Att: Surdu, Stancu, Bibiskov

Toja just got an injury and unfortunately for us, will be out for about a month. So, your chances just got bigger... sort of, because Andrei Ionescu will most probably take his place.

I guess Zapata will be the playing goalkeeper, but bare in mind that I trust in him more than in Tătăruşanu.

This is the most probable team. Eventualy, some new players will go in, like Tininho(sub for Marin) or Bibishkov.

    ----------------------Zapata----------------------

    --Golanski - Tudose - Ghionea - Marin----

    ---Nicolita - Onicas - Ionescu - Grzelak--

    --------Stancu-----------------Surdu-----------

  6. fingers crossed we get an early goal to get the crowd going. I will be happy with a good performance because unlike the sheep we are playing a quailty team.

    Lee

Why don't you get going from the begining? It would do your team a whole lot better, I think. Our guys will be somewhat under pressure, and then the chances to score us a goal are higher... If you don't support your team from the first whistle, it would be harder.

If I were Gannon, I would probably start with a 3-5-2 formation, and I'll explain why.

1: Your defenders must stay at the back even when you're attacking to avoid a counter.

2: When you'll be defending, your midfield wings must go and help the defence, transforming the formation to a 5-3-2. If you have a speedy attack player, I would start with him, because our defenders are not really fast, so you can send a high ball over our defence, when you get the ball from defending.

3: When attacking, your midfield players should go up, so you'll put our players on pressure. This means a probable gap between the midfield and the defence, but this is why your defenders should stay back.

This is, of course, a risky and stamina breaking tactic, but having to recover a 3-0 deficit, it's one to take. It could fail miserably, or it could turn into a surprise.

  7. i tried to put it as my desktop background and it too big and only showing the text in the middle

Switch through "Positions" settings, to see which fits best. This is a wide-screen version. I'll be making a 4:3 one soon.

    Thanks guys!

  8. Talking about own goals, check out this one:

Nicolita did it, big time, against RealMadrid, on Bernabeu. And it ended 1-0...

He also scored one from about 6-8 yards, straight at the top corner of the goal, against Poli Iasi. Can't find it on youtube though.

  9. [

Thought the big baldy left winger made a big impact when he came on. Looked a quality player.

    ]

Who was he? Thought he was quality.

Grzelak, transferred for free this season. He must improve his fitness so he can get into the starting 11.

  10. haha yes it is a bad word. it means the same as piss, which is urine or to urinate. think of the sound and you may understand :P

Now I get it. The exact translation in Romanian is "Piş", which is pronounced exactly like pish.

I liked the match, it was a lot more spectacular that we were used to, the last 2 years. If Lacatus or Hagi were still runing the team, we would have seen a retreat after 1-0, followed by two of your goals. I'm really glad that Bergodi is at the team, as they are playing better. They have more guts.

I'd like to thank you for your warm welcome here on the forum.
