  1. Just announced on Radio Scotland that Francis Jeffers has signed subject to international clearance, not eligible for tomorrow but I think he will be a good signing, remember he has played at the top level and if he has the desire he could be just what we need.

  2. Don,t know if this is any good but checked thetrainline.com and came up with the following options

Leave Inverness Sunday 9th 9.40am arrive Dundee 1.10pm (Change at Perth)

returning from Dundee Sunday 9th 16.43 arrive Inverness 20.44 or leave 19.30 arrive 23.14 (both change at Perth)

I know this is tight given the kick off time but it might be an option for you, good luck

  3. gobsmacked ------ just had my mind made up for me.

To travel with Scotrail to Dundee, (approx 120miles away), and arrive before 1:15pm on Sunday 9th January :-

Depart Elgin - Sat 8th Jan 21:36hrs

    Arrive Inverness - Sat 8th Jan 22:24hrs

    Depart Inverness - Sun 9th Jan 09:40hrs

    Arrive Perth - Sun 9th Jan 11:57hrs

    Depart Perth - Sun 9th Jan 12:47hrs

    Arrive Dundee - Sun 9th Jan 13:10hrs

Train Fare- £77.50 :O:O And that's not counting my overnight in Inverness, 40 miles in the wrong direction

    Incredible

  4. I can,t disagree with your comment about McCall since I have not seen him on TV recently but McGhee and charisma, sorry not the same guy I know. I like the idea of Tommy Craig as number two, good coach with a decent background, the best we can do as fans is to get behind the team and a good turnout on Saturday will do the trick

  5. Why is this an underwhelming appointment, I think the common thread throughout this debate from everyone has been the lack of a favourite candidate, time will tell if this is the right guy but I agree with nethertonwellfan, the negativity about McCall is disappointing but everyone is entitled to an opinion

  6. Thought we controlled the second half without looking like scoring and definately did not deserve to lose the second goal but Hately scoring in injury time was no more than we deserved. Sorry huge Jenno fan but he was naive to make that challenge this is Europe not the SPL. As some one said next week is arguably the biggest game financially for the club so lets coax anyone who has a chance of going to get to Fir Park and lets be PART OF HISTORY IN THE MAKING.

  7. Leeann the decision to charter the flight was in my opinion 100% correct, the potential income for the club in getting through to the group stages is enormous and making the travelling for the players as comfortable as possible is crucial in their preparations for the game. Perhaps some of the guys who are critical of the cost will hopefully see the benefits if ultimately we get through the tie and this additional revenue releases funds for new players which every fan wants to see. Either way I believe the bulk of the supporters will back your decision so heres hoping we get the result we are all looking for against Odense.

  8. Are there tickets available at the stadium tonight? The official site seems to just mention Fir Park. Sorry if its been covered earlier in the thread but in a bit of a rush. Cheers.

Tickets are available from the St Mirren ticket office up until the kick off
