I seem to recall this guy having "the game of his life" against us in a rare Falkirk win at Fir Park a couple of years back. We were sweeping almost everyone aside, then he almost single-handidly ripped us to bits in a 0-3 reversal.... Ex-Falkirk favourite Pedro Moutinho is training with his former club, as he tries to secure a move back to Westfield from Portuguese club Maritimo. The former Bairns player left for his homeland in 2008 after four years in Scotland, but kept his house in Falkirk and hinted on his departure that he hoped to return one day. That day has come only one year into his two-year contract with Maritimo, where he has struggled to make an impact. After failing to break into the first team, he was farmed out on loan to First Division side Rio Ave FC, where he spent the end of last season on loan. A dispute with the Madeira-based side has left him frozen out and he has flown back to Scotland in the hope that his contract with Maritimo will be cancelled this week. On his departure last summer, Moutinho told the Falkirk official website: “I am going to keep the house I have in Falkirk and hopefully I’ll be back. “I feel now is the right move for me with a two year contract but after that I will be a free agent again and who knows. This is not goodbye, but see you later.” Moutinho was part of Falkirk’s First Division winning squad in 2005, but missed the second half of the season due to a knee injury. Manager Eddie May has now offered the former fans’ favourite use of Falkirk’s training facilities, but has made no decision as to whether he will bring back Moutinho into his squad.

Mentioning Liam Miller reminded me of this. Not Motherwell-related, but interesting I thought....
-
Didn't you know, Kenny Misshit Miller says they are getting picked on and they are gonna tell their mammies about it all! They are a disgrace. FHW just don't seem to care about the massive fines they get, they still go out to kick folk off the park. Points deductions might well be the only answer in their case if it's available.

We're Tops! Currently, according to this one, we lead the way.
-
What exactly are they selling and what kind of prices? I heard something about this at the weekend.
-
This was his every position at any free kick we got yesterday, and he receive the sum of zero bookings for it. Each one is surely a yellow card!
-
Bouncebackability. We'll show it next week.
-
John Sutton got my nod. Thought he worked tirelessley today.
-
Would also have to say I heard no chants of that sort either. Must've been very localised indeed.
-
I almost sold out today, had just one copy left at a minute to 3. If anyone missed out I'm certain Chris has a few left over.
-
Sutton did the work of two men today but couldn't be in two places at once. Ran himself into the ground and did a lot of good work, but he had no-one up front with him really.
-
The more annoying aspect is that of the Referees. They are told to book players who deliberately celebrate in front of the opposing fans, yet that seems to have been forgotten today. Not only that, every single free kick we had Zemmama stood in front of it soon as it was given. That, for me , should also have carried a yellow after he'd done it a couple of times.

Yassin was out of position going forward, but who was filling in for him - nobody sadly. I think, as Grievesie said, we'll get this often during the season. One week we'll pump somebody, the next it'll be us. And unitl we find that consistency factor, whcih will take time in coming, it's going to happen more often than not. Still, weare still in not too bad shape really all things considered. Disappointed in the chat round about us, couple of folk calling the youngsters muppets for hesitancy or a slack pass. Give them time, you have to.

I was sure we had an option to buy Ruddy tied in with the loan. Can't imagine Everton would be difficult to deal with seeing as they don't want him, wages might be an issue but perhaps he's happy to take a bit of a cut (with a decent signing-on fee) for first-team footie on a regular basis.
-
Aye, that would've been us in the final as it happend at 1-1 virtually full time in the first game. 3-0 completely and utterly flattered them, they only scored their first goal in the replay after about 72 minutes or something I'm sure.

I suppose it also depends on what Gannon's amibitions are. He was always loyal in the past I seem to recall and maybes he'll want to take the club to a new level and actually achieve something concrete before considering a new challenge.

With the latest edition of the GLF out today, I was wondering if one of the Mods could maybe stick this in Latest News or something. On each day either the GLF or OSB is out, perhaps notice could be posted there. Just an idea and an attempt to boost sales of both Fanzines I guess! Mind get your copy now, both Fanzines are quality stuff.

Not quite Motherwell-related, but I was surprised to read this. Dundee v Rangers is the tie of the round for me.... The Co-operative Insurance Cup - Fourth Round - Celtic v Heart of Midlothian live on BBC Scotland Thu, 24 Sep 2009 The Scottish Football League and BBC Scotland have agreed that the Fourth Round match in The Co-operative Insurance Cup between Celtic and Heart of Midlothian at Celtic Park will be shown live on BBC Scotland on Wednesday, October 28 with a 7.35pm kick off.

That's the sending-offs dealt with. Now, what about the match score?
-
The original Pyscho. Great defender, loved watching him play when I first starting going to the games.
-
No reason at all why we can't win both. With games like this you rarely do see the same result twice but it's not impossible. And we aren't where we are by accident. Saint Mirren, on the other hand, haven't changed much from last year.
-
First goal for us wins it I feel. And if Hibs crawl into their shell like they did during the week, we could well go to town. Just feel excited by the sheer potential we have, I know we didn't play particularly well against Inverness but the amount of chances we created was incredible.
-
Perhaps the best squad we've ever had at this level? And there's more cmoing through. Good luck guys.

Cracking pic of Ruddy's save here.... Ruddy......
