  1. Daggad 99% of Well fans know this game is far from over. We got a decent draw but NOT a win. As I said before we are possibly slight favourites now we play back at home. But we have seen our team lose at home to many teams in lower leagues to us - so we take nothing for granted.

Try not to rise to the bait from a few posters on here.

Are you coming over for the return leg?

No sadly I am going to Oslo next week for a big football cup with my children, I would have loved to go ! Your fans in Aalesund has been absolutly brilliant, and with a few thousand more of the same kind it must be perfect !

Do not worry that anyone in here can make me feel bad about the game. I am dissapointed but moving in here I have to understand that you are all quite happy and have different views than myself. And you deserve it !

I was ironic with Motherwell fotball for the fun of it, because I think there is a chance to beat you in Motherwell. You did not scear me but you are of course big favourites to win the tie. But it must be played first..

One thing I must say: you all seem to be very very nice people, thats why I like it so much in here !!

  2. I SAW half of the game

Ok Motherwell football. i guess you are right....even if I was talking about the possesion and control of the game in the first half.

Congratulation on having a team that outplayed us in Norway. You are as good as clear for the EL playoffs now as ot will be easy at Fir park for Motherwell.

Sorry we could not give you a tougher match for the qualifier !

  3. Congrats on a very good result well fans !

I am very dissapointed. On the result and on our game. We had total control in the first half and should create more big chances ... The one with Phillips was huge. One inch to the right and we would have scored.

Second half was more even. Well scored after a few minutes and as espected tried to defend their lead. Aafk was controlling but Wells where dangerous in the counterplay.

We where lucky to getba very late penalty, and scored the equalizer. No doubt about the penalty as even Brown agreed upon, but still a bad result.

I do not think it is over. We can beat you away if we play our best but it will be difficult. We have everything to win now !

It was great to meet your supporters in Aalesund and Motherwell is a team I will follow when the SPL starts !

You played a very good tactical game and deserved the draw. i think Brown was our worst enemy tonight...

  4. You can buy Tubort at the supermarked for £ 1,20 a bottle 0.33. Sit down in the park or by the keyside and enjoy the clean air and warm sun !

(Not totally legal to dring alcohol in public but stay out of crowded places and you'll be ok. The police is friendly anyhow and will not fine you..)

  5. Motherwellfootball:

1st: God who is that girl in your avatar !? :D

2nd: We play with a diamond in the middle. One defensive midfielder behind the other two. Than there are 2 defensive wings and the single striker. The tall guy..

But Rekdal never uses two strikers in a 4-4-2. But offensive in 4-3-3, and with a target man like Aarøy, it is very important that the midfielders are supporting him. If not it looks hopeless as Aarøy can do nothing alone. :wallbash:

  6. Motherwell89 and all you other Motherwell fans:

Todays the day, and as much as I hope for a win for Aalesund I also hope you all get to see the game and I wish wish you all the luck. There is not much we can do, the players have to show us what the best team is.

The weather in Aalesund is very nice, calm and partly cloudy. Perfect conditions.

Aafk will meet European resistance for the first time at CLS. Perfect nerve..

I drove to the city center yesterday evening and saw some of your fans drinking beer at the tent. In the afternoon I will join them. Hope they have a great time in Aalesund. At approx 18:00 local time they will walk to the stadium together with thousands of Aafk fans. A great trip that will take 15-20 mins. I am sure they will enjoy it !

As per now, only 1200 tickets are available for the game. It will be packed tonight as the stadium only holds approx 9500 seats for European games. Perfect atmosphere !

  7. I see their prices now. They do not charge per game, but per week or month.

One week is nok 99,- (approx £10,-) and one month is nok 149,-.

I suggest you ask them on a mail if streaming to Scotland is possible, or buy a one week pack for nok 99,- now and check that it actually works for you. If not send them a mail and you'll get your money back.

One more thing that is good with a one week subscription is that they have a "Alt om laget ditt" (Everything about your team) part where you can check out a lot of videos about Aafk.

    Know your opposition ! :D

  8. Ha ha it is just great that the lad has confidence in your team !

The game is neither lost or won by the arguments in here anyhow. But getting the heat up before the game is just the thing we need before our thrusted men attack their tasks on thursday. (am I doing something wrong with the "h" here...I get red lines below the words ! :wallbash: )

Friday will give us some answers...

Let me put some gasoline on the fire: How many players with international games for their country do MFC have ?

    We have:

    Demar Phillips - Jamaica

    Jonathan Parr - Norway

    Pablo Herrera - Costa Rica

Michael Barrantes - Costa Rica (will not play MFC)

    Enar Jaager - Estland

    Ville Jalasto - Finland

    Johan Arneng - Sweden

    NOT counting U21 and below..

  9. Weather update: Today the skies are blue and the sun is doing its job very well making it a fantastic day !

For the next few days it is supposed to be a little more cloudy but still good conditions. My personal guess is quite nice weather since the breeze is coming from the south :)

Aafk has a injury free squad, and are looking sharp on their trainings. Hope they all will shine like the sun on thursday ! B-)

Remember one thing when you come to Aalesund: If you want to know something, dont be afraid to ask someone. Most people are more than willing to help you and talks decent english.

  10. Ok, you saw the game and think it was bad. Fair enough.

What I think will be very interesting to see is how our two playing styles will match. I do not have a clue how it will be like. Playing on plastic is also another game. You can not tackle as on natural grass. And speed is very important !

But I feel confident that we will bite good on thursday.

Btw I saw Breidablik was 2-0 under after 20 mins of their match today. Do not know the end resault.
