Now IMO this player would be good at MOTHERWELL
Socceroo Jason Culina has been given permission to negotiate with other A-League clubs, Gold Coast United have confirmed.
United have given Culina permission to speak to other clubs, and seem prepared to tear up the final year of his three-year deal as United's marquee player.
"We've had discussions and we've agreed to allow him to talk to other clubs, here and overseas," Gold Coast chief executive Clive Mensink said on Friday.
"He's (Jason) a valued player. He gives 110 per cent whether it's training or on the park.
"It'd be a loss, but at the end of the day it gives us the chance to expand the team more and not be solely reliant on one player either."
Culina, 30, has played more than 50 times for his country and is a starting 11 player for the national team.
He is currently sidelined with a knee injury.
