I remember Melvin Bragg & Lobey Dosser (i think?) were always slating McGhee, and I could never quite get my head round why. But after he's left, it all really has come to light. He's an absolute wanker of a man, the dodgy deals etc he has (allegedly) done are nothing short of scandalous & it's clear he knew he was off, and didn't really give a fuck about us any more.
And for what it's worth, I know some people don't really rate our chairman, but I think he's been fucking brilliant the last couple of years. Hiring McGhee, funding Hughes & Porter (allegedly), (allegedly) stopping McGhee selling off our youngsters, organising us a shiny new park & then getting then fucking legend that is Jim Gannon in. He's some boy.

It is good to see a manager at last that truely sees what goes on on the pitch and has the know how and ability to change things and adapt as games progress.

If Boyle is divulging business secrets to a cabbie, then it's him that should be embarrassed by this story regardless of it's subject matter.
I would be more concerned if Mcghee was still manager and boyle was telling stories in the back of a taxi.

why didnt the police help the steward get the guy off the pitch? they waited till the steward got him to the side then sauntered on? WTF?
I bumped in to that guy after the game about 4-30 he was just out of the police station gave him directions to the train station.

Hughes is the most over-rated player I have ever seen in my 30 years as a Well fan! He aint an attacking midfielder, nor a playmaking midfieler, and even less so a holding mid.
Stephen Hughes is Brian Kerr with good PR!
But he used play for Rangers he must be good.

Although i probably wouldn`t play him again due to the subconsciously not giving 100% factor, i find your comment extreme in regards to couldn`t score in a Bangkok whore house.
Surely you can see this man will score goals anywhere he goes and lets face it even world class strikers have lean spells in there careers.
I am afraid a 100% committed Chris Porter is a loss.
