  1. Was on McBookie trying to lash £20 on him being the next to go.

Fuck off Motherwell, another ten minutes and I'd have been laughing.

Me too - was halfway through sticking £40 on via Ladbrokes when market was suspended - not amused!!!

One recent example of many if you want to have more of a look. It also isn't difficult to find pictures - and even videos - of players absolutely out their dial in town most Saturday nights. The jail story will likely to be picked up by the media soon too. None of what has been posted is "Daily Mail style gossip" or "utter fucking bilge". Its true.

And what is wrong with Dom Thomas enjoying steak and chips in a very nice steakhouse?? By all means, post pictures of players with their kebabs at 3am whilst falling over steaming, but the odd portion of chips never killed anyone!!

  3. Just heard, the club have obtained all the 85 tickets from Stjarnan for our game - they will be handing them out in the Dubliner in Reykjavik from 5pm. Apparently the pub is doing pints for £2.50 when you collect a ticket! Great news as it saves us a trip out to the ground!

  4. Did they actually use the word parade? If they did, then there better be an actual parade or I won't be happy. This inaccurate info and misleading of the fans is what's making me consider my season ticket.

Don't tell us there is going to be a parade and then at least not have a trumpet, or even a juggler.

Don't really care about a juggler - but they better have ticker tape!

  5. The subbing of Law and Randolph for a send off was a nice touch. Kind of expected for Nicky, Randy a little less so. Higgy going off though...hmmm.... that immediately made he wonder if perhaps a decision had been made about his future that we weren't as yet privy too. Kind of feared the worst there.

I said that at the time too - I definitely thought Higgy looked like a man saying farewell when subbed - hope I am wrong though!

  6.

It worked for me too! I imagine it'll shut off after 5 minutes or so though.

I was waiting til after kick-off before I mentioned about this, as I was convinced that it would cut-off at kick-off, in the way that Setanta used to!!

  7. I'll decide tomorrow once the game is confirmed as 22nd July - i agree that it's going to be around £600 plus no KLM free booze

Can we go Lynda, can we, can we??

Yes, we can go but the money will have to come out of the garden budget!! Either that, or the honeymoon funds!!

  8. Wherever he ends up,,,,,I really wish Jim Gannon the very best in his future career - am sorry it hasn't worked out at Motherwell, but am sure he will find a club willing to give him the time required to create his vision!

  9. Right, it's about time some truths were put to bed, etc.

From the players' perspective.......what was the dressing room's view of gannon?? Had he really lost their confidence as was reported? Whilst I have a lot of time for some of our senior players who had been pushed to the fringes, was there some kind of whispering campaign against Gannon?? Please tell us why Gannon could not motivate the dressing room over the last few weeks, when he had started the season so well.

From the board's point of view,.......why did they feel the need to make the change NOW?? Have they got a realistic alternative ready to step in and wrap up our loan signings (I don't mean Brown & Knox - they are in no way long term replacements).

I really believe the club has taken a massive step backwwards on sacking Jim Gannon, he was a breathe of fresh air in the SPL, and really could have made a difference to our club

  10. Highlight of the wifes day was finding loos with toilet paper AND hot water.

That must be why the Main Stand prices are higher than the East Stand - don't get the luxury of hot water in the Ladies in the East!!

  11. I was surprised when I saw in the programme last night that there was to be a minute's silence - didn't fancy anyone's chances of getting the Steaua fans to stay quiet for that long! Definitely think our first home game would be a better place for a tribute.
