    Hope we have Autoglass on the blower as he appears to be made of glass. Good luck to the fella though, certainly has plenty of pace which we need. Not the type of signing I was expecting, though. Still feel we are powder puff up front.

    Not got the slightest interest in seeing TW in a Motherwell top again.
    Never was his greatest fan to start with, always said he had a great knack of either flicking the ball just past the post or directly at the keeper and hit a purple patch with us but I do agree that he gave his all, tracked back, was good at winning a foul and taking the pressure off. 
    Loved a sitter, did TWatt.

    I'm another one of those happy clappers that defended Alexander for far too long. However, it became clear over the summer with the lack of signings for positions of need, lack of preparation for Europe, lack of fitness etc etc etc, and now what O'Donnell and Hammell have been saying, that Alexander has been completely unprofessional. Feels like he'd been working his ticket and he's got the outcome he wanted. "Mutual consent". Jesus. Even if he had stayed we were gonna be on the back foot and playing catch up continuously with regards to fitness and signings. The new guy, whoever it is, is on hiding to nothing now and we are in a right sticky wicket. Hopefully the fans can show some understanding (ha ha ha) and show some patience as I reckon the required major surgery won't be happening until Jan. And we all know that only pishy scraps are available then.

    We needed a left back. Alexander signed a right back so now we have two international right backs. The whole preparation for this season has stank to high heaven and now we are trying to get players match fit by playing them in actual league games. It has been a shockingly unprofessional off-season even disregarding the Sligo results. Almost feels like GA was working his ticket but, surely, no professional would do that (apart from Dec)?

    That would be the Liam Kelly who is on 200k a year and who conceded 3 goals against a team Motherwell should have beaten easily?
    Fans are to blame for the fact that Motherwell didn't get the equaliser at Fir Park? With all due respect to Liam that's a load of cobblers. The reason we didn't get the equaliser is because we don't have a prolific striker.
    Van Veen is too inconsistent. Efford hasn't produced the goods either. Absolutely it can't be nice to be in front of a hostile crowd but that's what happens in football at times. He's kidding himself on if he thinks a supportive crowd would have got us an equaliser.
    Look at the travelling support we took to the Livi game last season. Fans were behind the team from the off and it took that Lamie strike to secure top six.
    Kevin Van Veen has spoken to the press and been honest about his own poor performance without pointing the finger at Motherwell fans.
    Absolutely agree that alcohol in the mix didn't help. Even before kick off at Fir Park police were called to club 100 as it was getting a bit rowdy even though there was no trouble.
    The word my brother used to describe the team at the Sligo home game was rancid and he maybe missed two home games last season due to work so like a lot of fans he's been watching Motherwell regularly enough to come to a conclusion about how good or bad we are.
    Think you need to look again at what he actually said.

    We've always had a Cooper or a Faddy to get us off our seats and excited, hell, even the likes of Pearo setting off on a run, or Corrigan away on a mazy. But who in the current crop is getting you off your seat? (And I don't mean for the exit)

    Rubbish . We have a bad manager ok. But we have just renewed the full playing surface and sub surface , upgraded the stadium, finances seem alright , sold loads of season tickets again , in the cold light of day last year was a successful season ,top six . All within the confines of a relatively small support. Where are you making that up from. We are no Barcelona after all . Wring out yer knickers .
    We even got (some) money for Kaiyne Woolery!! Amazing.
