Isn't it possible that the frame of the new structure is superimposed on top of a pic of the original stand.
Story I got was the club tried to buy the first two houses in that row but the owners refused. club then decided to build the main support anyway in the hope the land would come available to them sometime in the future.
Did they not own the first house at one time? I seem to remember it being used as the ticket office for a time in the eighties.

A brand spanking new Steel Arena (new name for Fir Park). 10,000 seater, One stand just for that - standing. Big circular stadium with 5,000 car park and huge bar with big screen that can hold about 2,000 people on matchday.

This is a great opportunity for all of us with the middle age spread. Personally this is ideal for me without committing to a direct debit to some gym. That may come later if/ when I start to benefit from this scheme.

Fair enough giving season ticket holders first shout but some people are pretty far flung and aren't able to make a Thursday match without a bit of planning and using up holidays at work.
I'd need to take a day and a half holiday which I did for the Briedablik game. If I do it for this one AND the next one (if we get through) then that's a week out my holidays. I'm skipping this one in the hope that we get through and I can go to the next one.
Canny penalise people who want to be there but just can't.

Call me naive but I believe that if we played to entertain the fans, then we'd get enough positive results to get a decent finish. Come on admit it, wasn't the Bucharest game at Airdrie one of the best games we've been involved in for a while?
