Better team won on the day. But I can't be overly critical . Team did us proud this season. We have a team of players that are good enough to get 20 clean sheets ,the flip side is that they don't really have enough in the locker to go that bit extra and lift the cup.

Burton were going down anyway at 1-1 with Bolton winning, but I suppose Louis put the final nail in there coffin. I think Louis will get punted ,out his depth now.

Very true mate, were always as a club talking about doing the basics and going into a cup final we should most certainly be doing that. Trying to build a bit of momentum by winning games , players playing for a place in the team or at least get themselves in the squad. And in doing so maybe get more bums on seats in the Motherwell end come 19 May . We failed miserably today on all counts.

1-5 well I didn't see that one coming, as others have said the big one is in two weeks ,but losing 1-5 isn't good preparation at any time . Be interested in the gaffers after match comments about " this football club ".

That’s unbelievable Ya bezzer ,I know we’d been rank rotten in the league for a while but I didn’t think it was that bad. Cup runs keeping Robinson sweet with the fans as you say. Let’s be honest we’ve had some great days out but it’s been mostly awful.

Was working today but managed tae see the game on telly, great first half from the team , never a penalty and that let Rangers back into the game , overall a decent game , thought Main was the best for us but it was another good effort from the team .

I don’t think Kipre did anything , he’s just trying to get back on his feet and his foot hits the back of Browns leg. And big hard macho man Broon behaves like the pathetic wee man he is.

If anyone wonders why crowds are falling , this is it , terrible day ,terrible playing surface and terrible tae watch.......absolutely dire stuff.

I can almost Guarantee that the majority of missing fans were season ticket holders ,who had to pay tae get in. I'm not having a dig this seems to be the way of it now for a lot of clubs.
