    I've kept every Motherwell top I've owned since the Xara and Motorola days, and there has not been a single issue with lettering coming off.

     

    My Macron one from last season has no transferable lettering left and this year it is going the same way. Not the best for a £45 shirt.

     

    I won't be buying another shirt until they change manufacturer.

    The £40 was an error, which was fixed after about 20 minutes, they're £45 as was the case last season - we haven't increased the price.

     

    Thanks for clearing that up - I haven't purchased a top for a few seasons so wasn't aware of last years prices.

     

    I managed to order it at £40 before the prices were corrected.

     

    I must say I'm really impressed with this years efforts, it seems that the club has listened to what the fans want and have diverted from using basic templates. I might actually purchase the away one too.

     

    Great work to all involved at MFC - this has been a great pre season so far.

    My dad was a massive 'Well fan. He supported motherwell for all of his 57 years, went to every home, away and European tie in recent years. Sadly he passed away on the 21st of January of this year after a short fight with cancer. Today will be a very difficult day for myself, and my family, and I'm sure my old man will be watching the well from above.

     

    I'm spreading his ashes on the pitch prior to the game, and would give anything to have him standing next to me in the stand.

     

    Everyone, make the most of today, especially if you are with loved ones.. as you never know what the future may hold

    Pat AKA Wellworn who used to contribute to these forums! I'm sure he'll be looking down on the guys with a beer in hand. An absolute gent and I'm sure he would have been in Jack Daniels pre and post match having a beer with Rab and the rest of the well support. :drinks:

     

     

     

    He would have indeed, i'm sure he would have been loving all the cup final hype.

     

    I'll be having a few beers for my dad in JD's before the game, so maybe see you there. :cheers:

  16. A True Fan In Heaven

    Just to let you guys know, that my father Pat (Wellworn) whom was a lifelong Motherwell fan, passed away after a short battle with illness.

     

    He is not often active on here, he has supported Motherwell for over 40 years, and brought 4 sons into the world to support the mighty 'Well. In recent years, he has never missed any games and has attended all Motherwell European ties in recent years.

     

    Hope you enjoy your new view of Fir Park from up above Dad!
