  1. no idea how good or bad he is, but a bit harsh to hold him solely responsible for Morton losing 5 goals to dundee or for QOS getting relegated (i'm sure Gus McPherson was the main contributor there).

As far as i am aware he is on trial with the team in Spain, but no contract has been offered yet

  2. So what youre all saying is that if Subway sells a foot long baguette for £5 then wee tiny Upper Crust should sell their baguettes at £10 cos they sell less?? BULL SHIT!! Just because were smaller it doesn't mean we charge more....

thats probably the worst analogy i have ever read!

you seem to miss the point that German teams get a shitload of money from TV and huge sponsorship deals, therefore allowing them to charge a lot less for entry. Bayern Munich's Uli Hoeness was quoted as saying " we could charge £300 for a season ticket and make an extra £2 million, but whats £2 million to us?" it is totally unrealistic to try and compare scottish finances to German finances, yet the delusional amongst us continue to do so.....

  3. i think on the whole they do. there might be a couple of stars at each club making more than the manager but i don't think it's common.

so when you said top paid players you actually meant the average paid players? there are plenty players in the EPL outwith the top 4 earning more than 100 grand a week

  4. any examples in the past 25 years?

sfl play offs to europa league is definitely an unprecedented jump but i'm struggling to think of anyone going from part time football to a top six team without any experience coaching full time players.

bear in mind QOS are full time, although personally I think it would be a big risk giving Johnstone the gig after one season with the only full time team in the 2nd division, so you would expect them to skoosh it.

  5. why dont we reply with a flag saying "proffesional"

kinda says to me "screw you, your still amateurs"

nope it says to me that you can't spell......

  6. So it's no longer the referee's decision on whether a park is playable or not? regardless of my opinion or anyone elses opinion on the state of the park, every referee this season has said that it is in a good enough condition to play a match. So where the fuck do the SPL get the right to decide that it is not? what exactly is a pitch of a "certain standard"

  7. Personally not so sure that it would work. the reasons being you have £20 buy-in, £10 goes to MST, JD's takes 20% of the pot for staging it, leaving £8 per head. If you manage to get 4 teams of 6 then thats a total pot of £192 split into say 3 prizes. so whatever way you split the pot its not exactly enticing is it, unless most folk just like to play for playing sake and don't mind that the payout is relatively low compared to the buy-in

  8. Looks like only the East and Lower tier of the South stands are open, should let Season Ticket holders in free

It's not being organised by MFC, its being organised by the 2 councils, so why should they let in season ticket holders for free?

  9. it is not listed on BBC radio schedule, only the falkirk game later is mentioned.

But i am sure that as the BBC was set up for the people by the people and is "not" their for commercial reasons and its agenda is to cover all the minorities also, then it will be on somewhere

(Aye that will be fucking right!!)
