[Celtic - Home 29th August - Discussion Thread]

I can understand most folk's frustrations after today's game, however I have no doubt that Thursday's game took a hell of a lot out of our players.

 

I couldn't fault our guys today for effort, it's just that they were knackered.

 

The difference between the 2 teams is that Celtic could make 5 changes to their team when we had to go with basically the exact same team. We don't have a big enough squad to compete on more than one level.

 

The international break couldn't come at a better time for us.

 

Don't lose the faith guys.

[Clear Need Of Inventive Striker]

We don't have the budget to get the inventive striker we would like to see.

 

However, I reckon we're actually missing Coke more than we are the others that we had last season. We badly lack a midfielder that doesn't take a nosebleed when he finds himself up with the strikers & can also pitch in with a few goals. Unfortunately these guys don't come along very often.
