  1. Personally this is one of THE biggest games of my season as i am a Fifer and i have for years hated the Pars more than any team in the Scottish leagues, there fans are a shower of wankers, they play awful route one football, Sammy the Tammy is on the register and i have put my neck on the line with so many Pars fans that if we do not win i will look like a numpty. With that said i am fancying a comfortable win, we have to much pace on the wings, Austin McCann and Jason Thomson are slow as a week in the tin pail so we need to use that to our advantage. i reckon 3-1 Well Higdon double and Murph. thumbup.gif

  2. I'm amazed at people going for Forbes! Granted he wasn't as bad as he is against SPL teams but that's because he's a 2nd division player and was playing against a 3rd division team... anyway, Law for me was miles ahead of anyone on that park last night.

Have a word mate, Forbes is improving all the time and the more confidence we have in him the more we will get out of him. Thought he had a great game but Nicky Law for MOM for me.

  3. I am not going to mock any player that McCall brings in as i trust his judgement and firmly believe he will get the best out of whoever comes in, however a lack of imagination with regards to young loan players either from the EPL or Championship is something that concerns me, there are guys out there and available.

I do reckon that towards Wednesday evening there will be a lot of last minute action with loans possible transfers coming to Fir Park as we sadly will not be a lot of players first option, that is the fact we have to deal with and stay patient as we can til then.

  4. Fair point but that was 16 years ago and it's a different era.

Goodwillie has done the right thing he's went to a middle ranking EPL side and will be up against a better quality of player on a weekly basis, this can only help his game and his career. Staying in the stagnant backwater of the SPL with Rangers or Celtic wouldn't have made him a better player, he's already proved himself in the SPL with Dundee United.

If Murphy does go I hope he gets picked up by an English side, hopefully Bolton he could learn a lot from Owen Coyle. I like Murphy and I'd like to see him improve, he wont if he stays in the SPL. Any overtures from the OF should be rebuffed immediately

    Couldnt agree more.

  5. Mines is the semi final against the scumbag Jam Farts, the atmosphere from the start of the game til the finish was electric in a sold out Easter Road (how every semi final should be) and we were cruising 2-0 up then it seemed that the momentum had swung in Hearts favour, as we see so often from a team that come back from 2 goals down, i seriously reckon if it had went to penalties we would have got put out, but up step Fizzy, BOOOOOM!!

  6. Has anyone got the link to watch this online?? im offshore the now  the link at the start of this thread just takes you to ESPN's homepage and theres no link to watch the game.

    Cheers for years.

    Ian

  7. I think its bloody ridiculous if we let him go.

Might just be my opinion but I think he would walk in to our first team at left back, every week!

I am in complete agreement with you there. Stevie hasnt had a bad game under Gannon i wouldnt say, not half as bad as Craigan's dodgy spell and yet hes in the team week after week.

I also dont buy that its financial as we have got rid of a helluva lot of 1st team players so there has to be money available to play with, not a great deal but surely enough to get whats required for cover for the right back position.

I will be very disappointed if Stevie leaves as he has the killer delivery to open up a defence and his experience is going to be vital with such a young squad.

Although if he goes i wish him all the best.

  8. Away games purely because the atmosphere isnt that great at FP although a have to admit im sure it will get better this season if the boys keep playing good stuff, i reckon a good away win on Saturday and a cheeky 3 points against the h**s the week after  will get a lot more into coming more regularly to Fir Park

  9. If the "big time Charlies" don't like it, they know where the door is.

Please make sure the door disny hit yer erses on the way oot

    Bit harsh??

I wouldnt judge anyone as a "big time charlie" without having good evidence of it. These more experienced players in my opinion have been loyal to the club and i dont think from where i can see that they have lacked effort for Motherwell, so by being dropped for a game or 2 might be new to them but i firmly believe everytime they are needed they will give 100% without any fuss.

  10. Unfortunately due to work commitments i had to work last night  so didnt manage to get along to Airdrie, what was the verdict on the 2 new boys on their debut's?

Did any of them particularly stand out and have they given any indication what to expect of them for he season ahead?

    Thoughts please....

  11. Congrats guys.. great win. the teenagers of flamurtari couldnt handle pressure and mentally collupsed. That's what I was worried about and it happened.

anyway your team is amateurish and steaua wont have any problems tearing it to pieces.

    Nice grammar.
