  1.

Been lookin at the 'old pics of FP' thread & thought this may also jog a few memories! If not, then at least a snapshot of youth culture in the late 80's (88 i think). Without any socio / politcal debate, this is what the book is about.

SS & Tufty Club return from Hamilton vs Hibs after the ob turned back two coaches headed for Aberdeen that morning.

  2. Scottish Cup day that, unsure of which round we got beat 1-0, Walter Smith was in the bar with friends and taking the banter in good heart went the place went up! He beat a hasty retreat, as did many from Tayside, legged up Airbles Road after their weaponry ran out.

No stabbing, sure it was the same day as mentioned, it was the chief bottle thrower and washer-upperer who had to nurse a skull fracture.

  3. I remember a fab day out in Dundee when Softie scored in the 94th minute. I was on a supporters bus fae Hamilton and running late so grabbed 2 bottles of 20/20 'ginger' as i thought. MELTED and we managed to get chucked out a club in Dundee for singing before the game. Saw some hilaroius 'handbags' outside Tannadice after the game too. Fab day out.

  4. Probably my all time favourite Motherwell away day. So many memories from that day, from snowball fights outside the pub before the game, to the Sieb Sieb Sieb chant, to the United fan getting lifted for mooning the Well fans at half time, to Softy's post match "another crack at the cherry" interview. Marvellous.
