  1. Don't doubt you, but can you actually get a night in the cells for the above? No blows traded etc.

Can only imagine he give the bouncers a bit of a hard time outside or something, because as far as inside Corinthian was concerned it was handbags, plus McCracken stayed inside. Nothing will come of it.

Big man's aiming for 30 before the seasons out. And apparently a few of the boys think he'll stay. Randolphs away to Birmingham though i heard.

  2. Completely blown out of proportion.

Had just spoken to Big Higgy when McCracken of St Johnstone started giving him a bit of abuse (both pished). Both went to move closer to eachother, but were seperated by Hammy, Las, Hately, Bob Malcolm and Tuffey of St Johnstone (Who for the record is a top lad). A few verbals were exchanged, before the bouncers stepped in. Higgy offered to shake his hand, McCracken told him to F*** off and Higgy was asked to leave. Absolutely nothing in it.

  3. thanks for the help guys. internet connection in the dorm was too slow for the streaming, so had to make do with bbc text update.

Andy, im in Nanjing for a programme called 'Study china', theres about 80 of us over from the uk for 3 weeks, im also spending a few days in shanghai either side of the programme. trying to get to the shanghai grand prix today, fingers crossed.

again, thanks for the help lads

  4. read on the bbc that the new 10 league 12 league proposal will require a vote of 10-2, i might be wrong here but previously hadnt the voting to be 11-1 to be successful?

if this is the case then the 11-1 was the barrier for the playoff for the league title as both old firm clubs were against it, now if it is 10-2 then it doesnt matter what the old firm want...?

  5. good point, and he played with Toulouse not really setting the football world alight

He won promotion with toulouse at that point in time. And in his first few years at celtic was pivotal to their success, only in the last year or 2 was he playing in the reserves. My point was that this Collet guy has never been a regular for Standard Liege, and before them had only played at 2nd tier levels therefore isn't likely to be on filmstar wages.

  6. I can't see Cedric Collets wages being that large. Before Standard Liege he has never played at a level higher than the Belgian or French 2nd tiers, and since joining Standard Liege he has only made 3 appearances in 18months. hardly the characteristics of someone on a big wage....?

  7. My mate phoned the ticket office yesterday asking when the away leg tickets would be on sale, and was told they were on sale yesterday, at a price of £17. My mate then phoned me to tell me as we are travellig in a group of 7, and i decided to phone the ticket office to double check. Again the woman confirmed the tickets were on sale yesterday at a price of £17, and that there were no restrictions on the number we could buy.

So off my mate and i go down to firpark, wait for an hour in the queue to then be told at the desk that the tickets are not on sale, infact they havent even arrived yet. The woman in the ticket office and all the staff in the chapman building denied that my mate and i had both called down in the space of 5minutes of eachother.

    absolute shambles

  8. 4 of us are on the 17.00 from Stansted - Billund on the Wednesday. The airport taxi firm at Billund airport have quoted us £200 for an 8 seater one way to Odense ( staying at the Congress Centre so they'll drop us there ). So we're looking for another 4 definites to share. Even 2 or 3 to keep the cost down.

Let me know if you want to share and we'll sort out the arrangements

same flight as you mate. 7 of us together, but we're getting to odense via the train. should work out a but cheaper.

Also, we're staying in the DanHostel Odense, which is 100yards from the train station in Odense. for the 7 of us it worked out £42 each for our 2 nights on the hostel.

  9. priced it all up then realised i cant make it, but heres what i came up with.

Car rental for 5 days (tuesday - saturday) £109

Dover to Calais Ferry on Wed morning ( 5 people + 1 car) £25 (return)

Drive from calais to Hirtshals (Denmark)

    Hirtshals to Larvik ferry ( 5 people + 1 car) £185 / 217Euro (return)

    Drive Larvik to Aalesunds

Watch game then all the way back

back in dover Late Friday night.

5 people sharing comes to around £60 per person, plus fuel. which with an eco-friendly rental doing around 60mpg for the 1700miles is a total of £140 in fuel, split between the 5.

So everything for under £100 each

  11. Outstanding performance, would vote for the full 11 if it would let me.

Jennings and lasley were different class together, 1 sat, 1 went, and vice versa, all night. positional sense and discipline was fantastic from both.

Hately.. what a freekick, best i've seen at FirPark (apart from Van der Gaag)

Lukas and Sutton just kept digging in at the back four and gave them a torrid time.

O'Brien never stopped, up and down the line all night, never scared to go at his man.

but for me craigan was the obvious choice, that display last night reminded me why watching craigan years ago that i wanted to be a centre half, never missed a tackle (or a man ;) ), would would run through a brick wall for motherwell and his distribution was top notch. Every tackle he not only goes in to win the ball, but to hit the man aswell, thats what makes him the best centre half at the club!

  12. Seen on the BBC that MK Dons have offered Gary MacKenzie of Dundee a Pre-Contract. I know hes 1st Division, but look at the players from the first dividion that have went down south and really went from strength to strength, Dorrans, McPake, Snodgrass, Scotland to name but a few.

Surely we could tempt him here, even with dundee having the money in the bank???
