    Ross Forbes

surely a wind up! he was excellent up at aberdeen and decent on saturday. however i don't see this diamond midfield lasting too long as other teams will adapt and try to stretch us with wingers, i've got a feeling we'll see it on wednesday then it'll be put away for a wee while. not sure where forbes will fit in after that.

    New Signings

3 good signings out of 3 is extremely welcome after the last couple of windows. as mccall says we have options now and we'll need them during the next 8 matches. wednesday is our 38th match of the season already and we'll play a minimum of 50 but hopefully 52 or 53 (craggs has already played 42 games which is good going). if we're going to have a strong finish we'll need contributions from everyone and those signings could prove vital. a wee bonus fact is that tom hateley has appeared in every game since he signed, 78 games in a row.

    Stewards

it wasn't really anyone's fault, the boys at the front started celebrating in the aisle as you do and then more and more wee guys started running down the stairs and piling on until it became ridiculous. there's not a lot you can do to stop something like that unless you tie people to their seats, i ran the best of 80 yards when we equalised at hampden. i've heard this incident might count against us when it comes to not having plod at the matches. i think it was reported on the radio as fighting and apparently we're trialing steward only matches and being monitored and has apparently been noted as some sort of incident (even though it's happened plenty of times in policed matches).
  4. i read a match report the day saying the hearts fans were giving goodwillie pelters. result - missed penalty. BEAST!!!!
  5. well done randy. for me what's almost as impressive as the shut outs is that we've only lost more than one goal in 9 out of 37 games. quite an achievement when you have a centre half playing in every game that half the crowd seem to hate and are desperate to get the knives out for at any opportunity.
  6. i think he's a total haddy but... the last time we played them he won every ball in the air and pretty much won the game for them by setting up russell's goal. i'd be happy if he missed the game just because of his presence at set pieces.
  7. there's still an decent chance of 4th getting europe. the scenario would be that the old firm side that comes 2nd wins the cup. it could be quite controversial as if us, dundee united, st johnstone, or ict make the cup final against an old firm side and the top six we'd know which team winning the league guaranteed us europe. by the same token kilmarnock and whatever sides aren't in the final would know that their only chance of europe is of the other team winning the spl. there's a lot of potential for for manipulation.
  8. there was only one last saturday at ibrox.
  9. as browny points out you can do it now if you actually want to. i'd rather get the chance to see everyone up close during a game. surely if people were changing end you'd get fans who had never been within 80 yards of our keeper? did you never feel the urge to see joe wark from 5-10 yards away rather than from behind the far goal?
  10. i don't get the point about switching ends. it good to get a bit of balance between attacking and defending.
  11. a few decisions to make at the back. hammell or gunning? i'd say hammell but i think gunning could maybe do a job in midfield if required. saunders or hutchy? hutchinson has been to blame for a few goals recently and has had a good few lucky escapes since he came into the team. saunders has been excellent whenever he's played at cb, does he deserve a chance to play alongside craigan? i'd say not now but hutchy doesn't have the shirt nailed down yet and he needs to get rid of the brain farts or it'll be saunders' go.
  12. i agree 6 points and it's game on. 3 or 4 wouldn't be a total disaster though and would leave us well placed although it would probably lead to some extreme knicker wetting on here. after the celtic game we have ict and killie away which are massive games in the top six battle, we've won at both those grounds already this season so there's no reason why we can't again. hopefully the fixture congestion will shaft united and st johnstone and we'll be able to stay ahead of them.
  13. nothing could top motherwell winning the league! they'd need to get the army in after a few weeks to stop the parties.
  14. is there any chance you're going to get fed up with telling us how fed up you are with motherwell games?
  15. my attitude with scotland these days is if they win then great. if they lose i'm not that bothered because burley, levein, brown, weir, miller, naismith, ect are wanks anyway. i'm much more intersted if faddy is involved or even mccormack or mcculloch.
  16. i actually think hartley might have been taking the opportunity to hit keith in his already damaged ribs as much as lashing out because of the challenge. he is a sleekit wee prick.
  17. beckhameqsue cross from craggs for the first it was a pretty decent game, quite a few of our highlights not included. * murphy had another good shot from range * jeffers had another good chance * hutchy breenged up the park on a quick break from their corner, did a nice wee turn then made an arse of the shot. if we can continue making chances at this rate we should beat accies.
  18. i think people just enjoy moaning more than winning. i was quite shocked to see the reaction to the rangers game on here. i had left ibrox thinking i'm glad that's out the way the next three games are huge and then came on here the next day to see people wanting mccall sacked and threatening to chuck it, totally daft. last night we had a belter of a performace that proved we have plenty of character in the squad yet it doesn't get a 1/4 of the reaction. if we get top six and another semi final this will go down as a great season, everyone should get right behind the team, we've got everything to play for in the next 9 matches.
  19. nope. we need a day of hate on april 2nd. mainly because it's goood fun.
  20. they said lunchtime today. i had my lunch fucking ages ago
  21. ----------randy hateley hutchy cragggs gunning ----------jenno ---lasley-------forbes --------murphy -----jeffers----sutton then we went 4-4-1-1 when we made the subs.
  22. when are these highlights going online?! i'm gagging to see murphy's long rangers and the one where he went round the keeper (thought it should have been a pen), FITB's fake then shot that langfield tipped round the post and forbes belter of an early free kick. mon to fuck bbc! i don't think last night would have been down to trying to get it up brown alone. we've built up a fair bit of frustration recently with the semi, the killie game and pumping at ibrox. the celebrations at the end were about far more than brown.
  23. he played well. solid at the back and made a few good runs forward even if the final ball was a bit off. he was blowing out his arse after an hour again though, hopefully his stamina will pick up a bit with more matches.
  24. just had a look at the lower division forums on p and b. halsman got a good write up for dumbarton. he set up the first two goals in their win. innes scored and apparently played well for albion rovers but then got sent off for a bad tackle. he seems like a bit of a mentalist.
