  1. oft...."The start of the second half was delayed by 45 minutes as fans pelted police with Molotov cocktails, flares and missiles, and the game was subsequently abandoned altogether with nine minutes remaining with Olympiakos 1-0 ahead. Twenty police officers were injured and more than 50 arrests were made while three fire engines were called in to extinguish flames as hundreds of fans set alight sections of the stands. Three of those arrested were charged with possession of explosives, police said."

  2. Am I reading this wrongly???

Cooper Family Package - Adults £30, Kids £15.......(presume West Stand Family section)

Adult Ticket for the game £15 - bus is £5, so £10 for a roll and a cup of tea???

....I was thinking this was a strange one too......£60 package of bus (£5, maybe each way??), ticket (£25), so that means the breakie is coming out at £25-£30 surely not????

    LOL

  3. I have to agree with most that people will moan about anythng on here!! Shite thread to say the least!

spot on.....moan fucking moan. How dare the club not let us travel cheaper? Maybe these smart arses should book a charter for peanuts...I'll take a seat on it, then moan like fuck because it doesnt drap me off at the hotel door.....fuckwits honestly.

  4. Anybody who goes on about it "only being a fiver" is coming across a total c**t. I know people who were struggling to scrape £15 of spare cash to get to the two first rounds, never mind a 25% increase.

    Fuckin' pathetic argument.

I couldn't really have cared less if the last two rounds had been £20 as well to be honest. The fact is though, they weren't. We paid £15 to see home ties against two Scandinavian mobs we know very little about. Now all of a sudden the club have increased the prices for another home tie against a Scandinavian mob we know very little about. I'll pay it and I'll be there, but it doesn't change the fact that the club are, once again, cashing in.

aye good, next folk will be moaning if they go they canny feed the weans.....this place is a fucking riot....some of you need to get yer priorities right.....if you can't afford it don't go, it's a shame but I can't afford a lit of things I want, hey that's life, like I said.

As for the price increase, ideal? No. Does the club think best for business? Clearly. Some of you should leave the running of the club to those employed to do that and stick to deciding whether you should gie up yer pie, bovril, programme, scarf, replica top.....no easy eh?

  5. £160 ryanair edi to billund out on Wed back Fri. After that its a 1hr 3o min drive. Say £250 for car, then £200 for hotel you could be talking £600 travel alone.

I'll wait and see what the club offer, if anything.

  6. All of these points made, from both sides, I think are valid, however the answer is staring folk in the face everytime they turn up at fir park........'fir park'.

The stadium is years past its best and I honestly think it puts people of coming to the games.

We need to spend to save and secure a future for the club by moving to a new purpose built stadium where, we can income generate...conferences, weddings and functions, schools, meals etc. I don't suspect that we will, at this time given the state of the place, be making much money from these sort of areas. Before any of you start throwing daggers, I had my wedding, a birthday party and recently a leaving party at FP, so I think I'm entitled to pass comment. If there is money being made from these areas currently, it certainly isn't being put back into the 'stadium', the pictures taken over the last cold snap are evidence of this.

Football is a business now, whether we (the supporter) like it or not. Fir Park is a traditional football ground which cannot facilitate the business ventures the club should be pursuing. Name me another SPL club that has not, over the past 5-10 years, invested significantly in their stadia? Exactly.
