Well Done, what a move to get, The Gooners Laddies are amazing. Clearly we have great ability in the girls ranks. All the best.

I think i'm falling in love with Jim Gannon. The excitment he's generating is amazing. Wonder who it is ? ? ? ? ?
-
I'm guessing its the San Jose Earthquakes game in the middle of the season ? ? ? ?

No way. . . . . . i was just about to edit the post

Ok Ok before i take a kickin . McGhee was NOT hopeless. Got us into Europe twice in a row, Who can disagree with that. My comment was more a generalisation of our recent (within the last 10 years) calibre of managers. not just taking in results or where they finished in the league, but passion for the club and fans and loyalty. We have had no legends for a long time.
-
Just read the Gannon targeting top 6 thread and someone mentioned that he was already a legend. Obviously he's not (yet) Started think what makes a motherwell legend. Especialy in the managerial scence. In recent year all our managers have been hopless and left no GOOD lasting impression on the club. In my time the only one i can look back on and say LEGEND is Tommy McLean, due to the scottish cup win and the team that he built. Lets be having it, Who are our legends but more importantly WHY are they our legends ? Managers or players
-
I want to get really excited about Gannon and all the talk that he's a legend already and this season is gona be great, it probably will. but lets not get ahead of ourselves, the is Motherwell we all support. Forever hyping up our managers and getting the biggest slap in the dish for it EVERY time. Last manager we had ( in my eyes ) who was a legend and made a TEAM of legends was wee Tommy Mclean. Over ten years ago. Gannon is a long long way off that. Time to go back to Fir park and back to reality. lets enjoy his press talk and see how it goes. Hope really hope he is as good as he sounds, and as a young manager let hope Fir Park is where he makes his mark and his name. Good Luck JG.

St Johnstone Match Thread - The Dawning Of A New Era!

I was really upbeat after the Steaua 2nd Leg. . . . then i remembered I was a motherwell fan. nuthings ever that straight forward. A performance like the first half of that game and we'll win by a few goals, although with Saints being newly promoted and at home, can't see them being push overs.3 or 4 -0 if we play to pour newly seen potential. 1-1 if its back to the good old motherwell that we love. -
So what ur saying is. . . . . if more people were posative towards players, then the team would play better ?
-
i'm sitting in work looking through all the non british players that have played for the club. enjoyed reading the scottish cup win report. ooh the memories that brought back. Almost had a tear in my eye. Great wee site.

Mon the 'Well Best fans in Europe, after all we are a regular in european competition these day
-
Forbes for me. was gona pick the steaua chik with the mickey mouse gloves on. she amused me when i couldn't see feck all for the steaua subs warming up. Grrrrrrrrrrrr Seriously though, could have picked anyone of the team. Can't believe the change in the side since the first game with that welsh mob. we are a million miles away from that. 'Well excited about this season, i really can feel a wee european adventure comming up again next season. I know i know, the season aint even started but if we can play like last night for the rest of the season. . . . . . . . . Mon the 'Well
-
Great performance last night, couldn't be more proud of the lads. Nice wee touch at the end by Gannon getting the boys to clap Steaua down the tunnel. Am buzzing about this season, if we can perform like that all season we might be having a wee european adventure again next season, can't see many of the spl teams being able to cope with the way Gannon says he wants to play. i know its early days but we're a million miles away from where we were in the first round. Mon The 'Well

Sorry dude, you look so much like the guy.
-
There is no way we can be written off. after the 8-1 game, anything can happen. I'll prey for a big enough win, but just even a win would save alot of pride and we can go out with our heads held high.

Is the Guy on the sofa 2nd from the right ( scotland top) Martin Parke ? Really looks like a guy i used to work with years ago.
