Posts elsewhere got me thinking and since we've no fresh signings to talk about

who are all the players that left and then returned to Fir Park for at least a 2nd stint, where did they go on their travels, and was the second coming a success

Starter for ten:

Stephen Craigan - Motherwell, Partick Thistle, Motherwell , Success!

Good thread!!

Won't be greedy so I'll just stick up a couple....

George Burley: Motherwell - Ayr - Falkirk - Motherwell

Alex Burns: Motherwell - Heracles - Southend - Raith - Livingston - St Mirren - Partick Thistle - Motherwell

EDIT: Beaten to the punch on both counts!!

I believe he was part of the youth set and played in BP Youth Cup teams for MFC before joining Dunfermline - Hearts - Swindon and back to Motherwell.

And if we're allowing Ian St John, then Leitch left us to manage Ross County before returning again as Assistant Manager, of course.

Ian St John if he counts, player then manager

As a player Weeyin's favourite: Gregor Stevens.

Then there's Bobby Watson and Willie Pettigrew, Kenny Black, Willie Falconer,Tom Forsyth and Mio Krivokapic if you're allowing managers and coaches.
