Sadly this is a fact of life..... The powers that be in most of the media can't see past the ugly sisters for news..... Don't let it worry you.... we're top of the league!:whistling:

Did anyone else notice the SPL headline on SKY SPORTS NEWS last night around mid evening,- "Celts go 2nd after win at Dons" Did we have a game yesterday ?

In 1994-95, we lost 1-2, a 73rd minute injury time to Ferguson at Ibrox, then went unbeaten until Aberdeen won 1-0 at a rainsoaked Fir Park in December. Discounting an extra-time league cup defeat at home to Aidire, and the two Dortmund defeats, that was 16 league games unbeaten. Went kinda pear-shaped thereafter, including taking the lead at soon-to-be-relegated Dundee United and losing 1-6, but we still finished second. I recall John Lambie saying after we'd destroyed Partick in a first-half rout at Fir Park that "no team would've survived against Motherwell in that mood" or words to that effect. Was a great first- half to a season that one.

To be fair to Sky Sports, the commentator did state during the Aberdeen v Celtic game that "if Celtic won they would go top but that could all change when Hearts play Motherwell later on today"

To be fair to everyone you would have to say if their own reporter said that then the same information should have been passed to the diddy who types up the headlines.

By contrast BBC News reported Celtic top of the league, 1 point clear of Dundee Utd.

Dependant on when the story was written, it could have been accurate.

I was watching BBC News 24 last night around 9/9:30 and in their sports section they twice mentioned that Celtic were top of the SPL. They mentioned we'd won 1-0, so at least they got that right.

On BBC Radio Scotland yesterday Chic Young gave the team news - One change for Motherwell from last week with Saunders in for Hutchinson. The so called Scottish football expert didn't realise we actually had two changes.

Quality misreporting from the BBC. Unsurprising.
