The were playing a first div team (county I think). I could be totally wrong here but I'm sure this was the scenario, even as runners up county never got Europe. The were playing a first div team (county I think). I could be totally wrong here but I'm sure this was the scenario, even as runners up county never got Europe. Because united took the cup place as its the better of the 2, but had united finished in a champions league spot, Ross county would have taken the Europa spot for cup.
