For a game that turned into a bit of a slog , I felt we had a few good performers today

 

Vigurs, who I can be critical of for attitude, looked interested today again and delivered many fine passes

 

Lasley and Carswell, worked very hard in midfield, Stuart in particular with a few critical blocks and tackles

 

Ainsworth, had a slow start, but got going and created most of our chances for himself or others, was surprised to see him hooked

 

but MOTM, Shaun Hutchinson, immense, and solid taking some hefty challenges and getting up and on with it, even found himself with a near miss on goal

Carswell put in a right good energetic performance in midfield but he's edged out by Hutchinson who was flipping immense.

Hutch just ahead of Vigurs today, Some of his passes where tremendous to watch bit he was still getting pelters, total joke.

 

Big Hutch bossed the game, strolled thru it. Best game in a while.

Some really good performances today so hard to pick.

 

McFadden had his best game of the season for me and helped link the play to great effect.

 

Vigurs is steadily improving and hit some fantastic passes.

 

Lasley and Carswell both put in great shifts again.

 

Ainsworth ran his socks off but didnt quite hit the standards of recent weeks.

 

The defence were pretty solid for the most part and another clean sheet is no mean feet so my MOTM for ensuring we got across the finish line is also big Hutch.

Lasley for me, just beating Hutchy. Bossed the midfield and showed some great awareness and touches I thought.
