Dodge
Sounds like a good night but I'll not be there as I think its a tad expensive and could surely have been done much cheaper to both club and fans and more lucrative for the club had they done this in house. Well Up For It!
Wonder how much cut of the ticket price Motherwell will get if any? Is it just a general fundraiser? Sounds like a good night though...
BobWilson (Anchorman)
I'm sure the club will have looked at staging in house, and they'll have reasons why they chose not to. Personally I think a tenner a ticket, and the bogof on all drinks for a couple of hours sounds like quite a cheap night out. Mibbe I'm just minted though. Frazzie
It's not quite CC Blooms, but should be a decent night! I don't want to sound like I'm nit-picking, but it doesn't say where the money is going. The PotY at Shawlands last season must have made a fortune and, when pushed for an answer, the club said that it was for 'the Commercial Department' and I'm not too keen on that. Would much rather see Youth Developement, or even a new pitch fund, get the wedge, rather than it going towards glossy posters and tartan jackets. Frazzie
Just been reliably informed that the proceeds of the Game Show Night are going to Youth Developement. I was going to go anyway, but that makes it all the more worthwhile. Let's turn out in numbers and help make it a enjoyable, and succesful, evening. Would also be superb if we could get a wee glimpse of the new kit design on the night... But would probably have forgotten what they look like come the next mornin!
