Looking for photos from old Scottish Cup ties

Hi everyone,

Ahead of the 35th anniversary of Motherwell’s famous Scottish Cup victory in 2026, I’m in the final stages of producing a book.

The book will focus on some of the club’s best and most enjoyable Scottish Cup away days since the victory in 1991. Even though we’ve not claimed silverware since, I’m sure we’ll all agree there have been some fantastic, rare and memorable victories away from home.

I was wondering if anyone had any photos from any of the following fixtures? This could be pictures from the match, or images of memorabilia like match tickets or programmes.

If you have anything, would you please consider lending them to me for inclusion in the book, with full credit?

• Airdrie United in 2007 (Richie Foran with the winner)
• Stranraer 2011 (en route to the 2011 Scottish Cup Final)
• Dundee 2011 (4-0 to ‘Well, Griffiths sent off)
• Ayr 2002 (First Scottish Cup match since 1991 victory)
• Dundee 2020 (Chris Long hat-trick on the Saturday night)
• Dundee 2018 (2-0, Craig Tanner scored)
• Partick Thistle 1997
• Kilmarnock (2003, James McFadden with the winner)
• St Mirren (2001, Lee McCulloch and John Spencer scored)
