big tache
Where are the freebies being given out for next weeks game ? I don't have my passport No. and this would save me a lot of bother. Bollocks to UEFA and their rules. Well done Motherwell Football Club for making it up as they go along.

Stuarty
It was decided at some point throughout the day that it would be best to travel around the city of Bucharest and give out tickets to anyone who still required one for the 'Well end. I do not work at Motherwell myself but did speak to people from Motherwell and this is the reason for it. Motherwell done this so that all Motherwell fans who had made the journey got a ticket ok, and as you may have seen there was not much chance of getting a ticket elsewhere and done to safety for the fans that had travelled. No it was decided it wasn't safe enough for anybody from Motherwell to stand outside the ground i got 4 ticket off the 2 girls and they didn't feel safe either, the police picked us up and put us in a compound, for our own safety they said and we were in it for 2 hours in swealtering heat... I managed to get away early after the match and i've got to say the fans couldn't of been more friendly...Army tactic's, anyway had a great time the 5 days i was there, superb it was. The point is. If you didn't get a ticket through motherwell by giving your passport No. you wern't supposed to get into the game. As told to me by the member of the fir park ticket office staff whom i've already mentioned on an earlier post.
mfc123
My understanding is that given the very short notice given for distributing tickets at FP....MFC had posted on the website that tickets would be available to fans from club officials at the turnstiles, where details would be noted. This was apparently ruled out on the morning of the match by the local police who stated that no fans would be allowed near the ground without a ticket. This proved to be the case with some fans being subjected to no less than 7 searches enroute to the stadium. The club then took the decision to attempt to locate fans within the town centre and distribute tickets......I think this probably deserves more praise than criticism. I agree with you, It just seems as though some people will sit all night thinking of something to criticise the club for and this coming form me who had to go back home and get my passport number to get tickets. So if anyone should moan it should be me. Well done the club.........but seen as they all got there tickets for free can I get my 2 quid back. On another note I never had to show my ticket once until I got to the turnstyle. The Robocops that escorted us into a Robocop van and escoorted us to the stadium (scary stuff by the way) must have forgot to check ours
Pleau
me and other steaua fans here, and across the romanian sites, specifically said that there is no reason to start the racism, rivalry, prejudice and god know what else, with the well's scots, simply because we have nothing to share with you and most of all :we admire your way of treating this footie passion. When we rounded the stadium , two of the wells fans - around twenty-something - were really drunk and couldnt find their gate, one of them dropped his wallet and instead of running with it - as others would expect - I picked it up and gave it to the other friend which seamed more sober, and then showed them how to get to their gate. the cops are really retarded over here, so dont question they way of acting. They are peps from the country side that came to Bucharest for a better income. we had southampton here a few years back , and the foocking press started talking about some conflicts between us and them because they share the same colours as our fierce-rivals, Dinamo. And the Southampton were also quite content, but when they got here we invited them to a place near the stadium and gave them a good time, bought them beer a.s.o.. I remember they started a little samba train ))...but after the game the same press started talking about racism cause some rednecks insulted a Southampton player. this happened also with the villa and liverpool fans in the 90s, but cant tell that from my own experience cause I was just a shortie. we treat with great respect those that show us respect! but we fuck up those that don't.( like our hungarian friends ). Would just like to say we had a fantastic time in your country. Everyone we met were polite and very helpfull if asked how to get to any place etc... The game itself was an experience i thouroughly enjoyed (apart from the score ) and i hope that if any of your fellow countrymen/women come to Motherwell they will be treated with the same respect and honesty we found in Romania. Mitch
My baggage arrived the day of the match and my tickets were inside. However I managed to misplace it during the day. I managed to get into the ground without my ticket! Think they just wanted rid of me from hanging about outside the ground!

Liar liar pants on fire ! I was told by a senior member of staff while I was standing in the queue waiting for my ticket that my passport number would be printed on the ticket and then my passport and ticket would be checked for a match at the ground. Neither of these things happened. Can't honestly remember if they took my passport off me or not, but we were certainly fed bullshit to some extent prior to the Nancy trip.
