No, he isn’t. The view from behind the goal shows Spittal’s right foot is marginally closer, playing Considine onside. Won’t let me add a screenshot but you can clearly see it on the Sportscene coverage. Had Considine been offside I agree that he was definitely interfering.
I’m not sure what angle you’re looking at but the scorer is yards inside and there are 6 Motherwell players, including Kelly, playing him on. It’s not even close to being offside.
You need to remember the criteria they look for:
Did the pull impede the player?
Did the player have any prospect of getting to the ball?
Does the player play for Celtic or Rangers? (most important)
VAR can’t overrule the ref, they can only ask them to look at it again to see if they want to change their initial decision. Paton knew he was at risk of going off as he looked up to check the colour of the card when he was booked.
