Heβs wee for a keeper letβs just leave it at that
-
never used those (but I never bet on the horses) We were also taught: 16oz in 1lb 14 lbs in a stone 8 stone in a hundredweight 20 hundredweight in a ton (and that's me done)
-
So he is 0.356 Poles
-
Next you will be quoting Chains and Furlongs....
-
I was never taught this at Coltness High - sacrilege
-
I probably did too but I personally always think in feet and inches when it comes to height - imperial just kind of passed me by
-
Exactly! 3ft 3 inches in a metre 2.2lbs in a kg 1.6 km in a mile They drilled us well.
-
It is .87 of a foot, there are 12 inches in a foot so 12 x 0.872 = 5 feet and 10 and a half inches. one advantage of being old is you can think in metric and imperial.
-
Slattery provided the cross for the goal though - so even if he didn't have a good game the contribution he made was valuable Agree but hopefully we'll get more players in between now and then
-
People my age grew up with both systems, so know there are 2.54cm to an inch. 179 / 2.54 = 70.47 inches. 12 inches to a foot, so 70.46 inches = 5 ft 10.47 inches.

You'll probably know that I'm not Slattery's biggest fan but he came back last season and was pretty good. These two games this season, garbage. Watt wasn't very good either and when you add that to our central defensive issues that's a big hole right down the middle of the pitch. Plus there is the centre forward position, again didn't see anything convincing from the guys that played there tonight. You aren't going to do anything at any level of football unless you sort out the spine of the team. There were occasional good spells of forward play, the two goal scorers did well. Maswanhise when he came on. But there was also fairly long spells when we looked disconnected, slack play, poor passing, poor delivery, poor set plays, laboured movement and tempo. It was all about winning tonight but unless performances improve we are going to come a cropper in one of these matches and if we play like this against Rangers it's going to be a very bad start to the season. Two games in, now we need to see better play.

Yeah. But some other converters say five foot ten if you put the same thing in - which is a bit odd
-
not if you put 1.79m into a converter online - comes out as......but i guess it depends on what converter is used - there seems to be a difference in them all lol
-
Is the +70 injury time for Stama π€£π€£
-
-
Well no. He's 1.79 m which is over five foot ten like I just said
-
Clearly we still have an issue centre of defence as their goal showed β¦ but can see how he wants us to play and thought there were some decent spells of possession and moving the ball about well. The flicks and link up will come with time. Seeing a lot of doom and gloom on social media but definitely more cup half full tonight. Faddy looks a decent find!
-
So 5ft 10 then?
-
AP's not a hold-up man, he's an inside the box finisher. If we want to get the most from him, he needs to be facing the goal with the ball in front of him.
-
Some previous post mentioned ap first touch, how the fuck i haven't noticed before, truly awful, fsdinger impressed, bit of quality and great work ethic.
-
He's just short of five foot ten and a half.
-
Some encouraging signs from the new players, and can see some new tactical ideas taking shape - but work to be done. I thought Connelly handled the sweeper-keeper role better than Ward, albeit with little pressure being applied. The less said about the defence the better.
