True.....
-
Just being out is a big blow (particularly with Slattery already out), although we played very well in the 1st half last Sat without him, so let’s hope we see more of that just with more end product. Crazy amount of injuries again this seasons.
-
Yeah, Said has it in his locker, just needs fitness and sharpness. Hopefully finds it today
-
I liked him and will be forever grateful for that season but under no circumstances would I want to see him be successful anywhere else.
-
Just is a big loss, but at least we still have Fadinger and Watt in there. Said is improving too, In previous seasons when Miller and Slattery were out we had nothing left in our midfield.
-
Subs: Oxborough Balmer Halliday Osong Priestman Koutroumbis Ross McAllister McColm
-
Ward O'Donnell Gordon Welsh Longelo Charles-Cook Watt Fadinger Said Maswanhise Stamatalopoulos

This is why it's a good thing fans don't actually manage professional footballers.
-
Mmmm. Not feeling so confident now. Just is a miss. Surprised Koutroumbis on bench. But JBA does like SOD. Hopefully Said and RCC are fitter, sharper than last week.
-
What's the team?
-
Bit of a buzzkill tbh
-
Pretty light bench as well

“Speedy recovery Elijah”

Very true , quite happy to focus on the present and hopefully a win today and another trip to Hampden As great as 1991 was/is I am desperate to see another cup win in either of the cups Something most under the age of 40 have no real memory of apart from watching videos of it and hearing stories
-
And SO’D is in
-
Yes maybe buts it's results that are remembered
-
Just Is out 🤦♂️
-
What a lot of managerial bollocks. Just put him on the park and let him play.

I don't dislike the man either, but for most of his time in charge, the football was brutal to watch. As you might have guessed from some of my posts, I also got fed up with his "have to earn the right to play football" spiel as an excuse for hoofball. I said at the time that good teams play their game from the kickoff, and JBA has proved that already this season. No doubt, as the years pass, he will get better and better, but I imagine if you go back to some of the match threads from those seasons, there will more complaints than praise

Lennon Miller state of play as Scotland ace awaits debut Udinese boss Kosta Runjaic has promised Scotland starlet Lennon Miller he will soon be in his plans once he gets up to speed. The former Motherwell midfielder has yet to kick a ball for his new club following his £6 million move to Serie A in the summer. The only football he's played this season has been for Scotland as a last-minute sub in the 2-0 World Cup win in Hungary against Belarus. Miller, 19, hasn't played a domestic game since May, but Runjaic has revealed he will soon introduce Miller into his line-up He explained: "We certainly don't need to teach Lennon Miller how to play football. He knows how to play all right. "But he needs to go through this integration period, given that he hasn't played much in the last month. "He's very diligent and is making excellent progress. "I'm very happy he's here."

Definitely both 3-0 games against today's opponents, the cup semi when Moult scored twice and a good few other games were good that season . He came in and there was a feeling good factor for a while I certainly don't dislike the man , and would be desperate to see us put one over him if we meet at Hampden , or in any other game
-
I loved that season. The team weren’t easy on the eye but by God they could grind out wins when it mattered and some big, big wins to celebrate and remember. Scudding Aberdeen at Fir Park then Louis Moult day against Rangers at Hampden in the league cup then beating Hearts in the SCQF with a Carl McHugh belter at the death to set up another rout of Aberdeen in the semis. That was a Motherwell side with character and bottle and as you say had we been up against what was one of the strongest Celtic sides in either final we would probably have won a trophy. I liked Robinson and respect him as a manager, but I hope he doesn’t win a trophy with St.Mirren.

Change of manager hopefully brings us a change in attitude and fortune in cup competitions
-
I do think if Robbo hadn't came up against Celtic in both finals that season we would have won at least one of them Anyway onwards and upwards , hopefully Jens wins one of the cups
